All Breed Rescue & Training is a non-profit rescue and animal training facility in Colorado Springs. We have served the Southern Colorado community for over two decades, rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for at-risk dogs across the state, as well as providing training and behavior modification services to all levels of dog owners. Note! All of our dogs are in foster homes, not at the facility! Meet them on our website - click "Adopt"!
Our training program is relationship based and promotes positive reinforcement, utilizing the most scientifically-sound methods available. With classes ranging from Puppy Socialization through competition level nosework, agility, barnhunt, rally, and conformation, we have a class for you!

Hello all, I have a pitbull who is very friendly towards humans, but is frightened by other dogs and turns aggressive and tries to fight them. I am worried because I have a toddler in the home. IM looking for a place or someone who can rehome him.
Call All Breed Rescue and Training. They may be able to help you and keep the dog.
I have a dog that's possessive and aggressive towards other dogs and people but me, other shelters aren't able to take him in, but I wonder if you have any rehabilitation programs to help or perhaps to find a home where he would be a single dog.

I tried several times today but with no response. I will continue to try tomorrow, this whole thing has driven a wedge into my home life. I love Max but this isn't the home for him.
Do you offer any aggressive dog rehabilitation training services? Are there fees if so, and if not would there be any possibility of re homing a dog that doesn't play well with children or other dogs?
My Bo was starting to show some aggressive behaviors. He was elderly. They were able to give some basic changes to keep him and others safe.
I have a chihuahua that I inherited from my cousin. While I am a confirmed dog person, this one is really too much added to my other two dogs and cats. Not housebroken and runs off. I am not well and something needs to give. Can someone take her?

I have a purebred lab puppy, extremely good lines , OFA hips and elbows, parents DNA , and long line of field champions and great dogs. I will donate her ( regularly 12-$1500) to be trained for a disabled veteran. Who can I give the dog to??

I know of a man who is moving over seas and has 2 beautiful huskys that he is trying to rehome, would they be a good breed to train 4 service dogs and who can train them if they were donated for veterans r disabled?
Hi Peggy, each dog is an individual and depending on their personality, ability to perform tasks, trainability etc... can help decide if they are a good candidate. They would need to be evaluated. There are organizations that do accept dog donations. We can give you more information if you call our office at 719-264-6460.

I don't even know where to start describing how grateful I am for this place. We brought our youngest dog here, because we were completely out of options for her - she needed to get better or she would need to be put down. She struggles with some pretty serious behavioral issues. We met with Jenna for an evaluation and started training the week after - these guys saved our dog's life. We went from not being able to walk her because she would go nuts over seeing other people, cars, animals, dogs, you name it. We can now take walks and feel confident in her training. She's made so much progress and Jenna has been an amazing support through it all - there has been 0 judgement on the days where it's been hard and discouraging, and she helped us get to the vet so we could supplement the training with medications. All of that has completely turned our lives upside down in the best way possible. She still has a while to go, but I have 0 doubt that we'll get there with ABRT's help. And also a major thank you to all the volunteers that have been "strangers" and have lend us their dogs for our girl to work with in a safe environment.

We enrolled our 2 year old Golden doodle in the NEO Dog 2 class and it was wonderful. The instructors are patient, helpful and positive. They know their stuff! Highly recommend.

After an initial introduction at the foster home, she brought the pup over to my house twice so that her presence would be reassuring for the pup in her new surroundings, to start. I would definitely work with 2 Blondes rescue again.

Love all of the instructors, and the classes are awesome! They've been a tremendous help with my reactive aussie and getting my young sheltie into the sport of agility. Would absolutely go here with any future dogs as well :)

Positive Reinforcement is a great way to teach new behaviors. It is not very good for stopping dangerous behaviors.
