We are so pleased with the training our dog received. Sergio’s knowledge and skills exceeded our expectations. He went above and beyond with our 4 week board and train plus coming to the house a few times to help us prepare her for the stay with him. He made sure our dogs wellness and safety was top priority and ensured that our needs were met. Mako had her first birthday while she was at training and Sergio went out of his way to get her a treat to share with his dogs. 100% recommend Sergio for all your training needs.

Sergio is a Godsend! He came all the way down to Yuma to help our family start to to train our 3 month old doberman and he checks in on us periodically to answer any questions or concerns that we have. Sergio not only trained and taught our dog, but he helped and educated us as well. He gave us many tips and tricks that we still use and We are already booked for a boarding and training fort later this year! I highly recommend Sergio to anyone who is looking for a dog trainer.

Sergio has been so much help for me and my pitbull/ chihuahua mix Teeny. She’s been struggling for years with fear of outside and loud noises. I couldn’t take her for walks without her reacting to every noise, car, person, dog she saw. She has always been a very fearful dog and also has food insecurity. Just a few days into her 2 week board and train with Sergio and his pack I was already noticing how calm and different she looked on walks in the videos he would send me. She no longer reacts to loud triggers and is the calmest I’ve ever seen her. She was living in a fear state for so many years, it is so amazing to see her so relaxed and I’m excited to start finally taking her for walks! I have been trying to research how to handle Teeny’s problems for years but could never get a straight forward answer or anything that actually worked on her. Sergio had the knowledge and patience to correct all of her bad behavior with positive reinforcement and help her overcome her fear of outside. My dog is my whole world and it was difficult for me to leave her but learned quickly that Sergio understands and is passionate about dogs and can be trusted. I was sent updates throughout the day. He is very patient and responsible, I will definitely be using him again for Teeny since she did not complete a full 5 weeks yet and any future dogs. She is a completely new dog even just after the 2 weeks, she looks noticeably happier and healthier.

It can be daunting to sort through all the information out there on how to address dog behaviors. It’s challenging to know what is the best approach. I was beginning to feel discouraged, recognizing that my attempts were failing. After talking with Sergio, and asking a variety of questions, we set up an appointment. Sergio was on time, a good communicator, and patient. He seemed to have a good read of Mutton and also of my levels of comfort/discomfort as we tried new tools of communication. He was observant and kind in his approach, and helped me feel encouraged in approaching Mutton’s excitement and reactivity. With new tools, demonstrations & guided practice I am comfortable in knowing I am not hurting Mutton trying the tools on my own. I look forward to being a better communicator with Mutton, building trust, and an even stronger relationship with my sweet boy. I appreciated Sergio’s balanced approach, his recognition of the work that has already been done, and positive interaction with Mutton. Thank you, Sergio!
