I can’t say enough about Heather and Matt - they have been so patient through the whole training process. As a first time dog owner, they took extra time in training me (and I needed as much help as my dog!) and from the first phone call, Heather indulged all my questions, was honest about the training practice, and helped to dispel dog-owning myths without ‘selling’ her facility. She was just honest - and I needed that. After the board & train program Livvie is like a new dog and is well behaved, but she remains sweet, playful and curious - and only occasionally tries to push boundaries to see what she can get away with! We are both still learning but I’m so happy I chose All Dogs - I don’t think I would have the same results and confidence elsewhere.

The transformation we have seen in Radar thanks to their expertise and dedication is nothing short of remarkable. From our first consultation, Matt and Heather displayed a deep understanding of canine behavior and an impressive ability to connect with dogs, especially those who may have come from challenging backgrounds. Radar was initially shy and anxious, showing signs of fear-based reactions to new environments and unfamiliar people. Matt and Heather approached the situation with compassion and patience, taking the time to build a bond with Radar that laid the foundation for his training. Throughout our sessions, Matt and Heather employed positive reinforcement techniques that not only boosted Radar's confidence but also encouraged him to engage more playfully and openly. I appreciated their ability to tailor the training plan to Radar's specific needs, incorporating various exercises that focused on socialization, obedience, and desensitization to stimuli that had previously frightened him. One of the aspects I found particularly impressive was Matt and Heather's commitment to educating me as an owner. After just a few weeks of consistent training, the changes in Radar were astonishing. He became more relaxed in new situations, learned basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and even started to play with other dogs. Watching him thrive has been incredibly rewarding, and I credit it all to Matt and Heather's skill and dedication. All Dogs Training is the absolute best! Heather, Matt, Amy and the rest of the team are both super skilled in dog training and incredibly kind and approachable. They have a true passion for dog training and their love for training and dogs is palpable. My 4 yr old mini goldendoodle was enrolled in their 2 week board and train and came back a much more obedient and settled dog. Within the first week, he settled much more easily and showed immense impulse control. He went from excited jumping and barking, to treating other humans and dogs with a much more calm demeanor. I brought him to a different training program as a puppy / young dog and I so wish I found All Dogs Training and Heather back then. From the first consult call, where Heather took 45 min out of her day to answer any and all of my questions, to the take home lesson where Matt and Amy diligently trained me on how to continue training at home - absolutely night and day from my previous experiences. They adapted their training to my dog, not the other way around. The team worked with me and made sure I felt comfortable, which unfortunately was not my experience with other dog trainers who picked apart any little mistake my dog or I made.
