Highly Recommend All Dogs Training – Heather and Matt Are Incredible Trainers! I cannot say enough positive things about Heather and Matt at All Dogs Training. They worked wonders with my dog, Duke, who is a very stubborn and dramatic Gerberian Shepsky mix. Before finding them, I had a terrible experience at another boarding facility, and I was initially hesitant about trying another board-and-train program. However, Heather was incredibly understanding and suggested private lessons to ease my concerns. From the start, Heather’s patience and knowledge stood out. She was always available to answer my questions and made sure I felt confident throughout the training process. After seeing how excited Duke was just to see her during our lessons, I knew he would be in great hands if he went with her for the full board-and-train program. The progress Duke made was incredible. He learned to understand leash pressure, e-collar commands, and verbal cues. Despite his stubbornness and tendency to push limits, Matt did an amazing job working with him. Matt’s calm demeanor and thoroughness made me feel at ease, and they were always clear about how the sessions were going. When it was time to pick up Duke, I met with Matt, and I’ll admit, I was extremely nervous, anxious and scared. I knew the type of dog I had dropped off, and I was worried about messing up once we got home. But Matt’s calm demeanor and thorough approach immediately put me at ease. He took the time to walk me through the training process he used with Duke, ensuring I knew exactly how to replicate it at home. He answered all of my questions and was a great listener to all of my concerns. Throughout the training, Heather and Matt kept me in the loop by sending pictures, videos, and updates. They were so reassuring, and when I had a small setback with Duke after bringing him home, Heather was quick to provide guidance on what went wrong and how to correct it. Her transparency and willingness to help really made me feel supported. I truly appreciate all the patience and care Heather and Matt gave to Duke. They’ve helped me learn so much and have made a big difference in his behavior. I would highly recommend them for board-and-train to anyone with a dog that needs training. I will absolutely use their services again, whether for Duke’s reinforcement or for a future dog. Duke has gone from being a dog that always needed to be on the move to one who can now relax and stay calm in his 'place.' What a huge transformation! Heather and Matt have been life savers! Goose went to them for early puppy foundations and again around 6 months for two weeks of adult training. Goose is very high drive/high energy. He’s a handful! They sent him home with a solid foundation and the frameworks needed to continue to help him thrive! We get so many compliments about how smart he is on our daily walks. There were moments when I didn’t think Goose would settle for more than 10 min at a time for the rest of his life. After working on Place the last few months, Goose just stayed in one spot for a full hour - and he was relaxed and regulated for most of that time. I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the work they have done with Goose. They’ send great updates while he’s with them and they are always available for follow up question (and the occasional omg he’s driving me crazy texts lol). I can’t imagine how crazy both of us would have been had we not worked with Heather and Matt!

Heather and her team at All Dogs Training were amazing. Our dog, Alaska, was a year and four months old and had been doing his own thing for most of that time—pulling incessantly on walks, reacting to other dogs, and even eating everything in sight (including my wife’s glasses at one point). We were really concerned and unsure if training would make a difference. Heather exceeded all our expectations. Alaska now walks calmly at my pace, doesn’t react to other dogs, and has completely stopped his destructive behaviors. It’s like we have a brand-new dog! Heather and her team are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and patient. I usually don’t leave Alaska in anyone’s care, but we trusted Heather, and the entire experience was flawless. Our investment in training was worth every penny. If you’re on the fence about professional training, I can confidently say it will pay off with Heather and her team.
