All Dogs Unleashed Dog Training Minneapolis

I reached out to All Dogs Unleashed because I was seeking guidance for a dog with leash reactivity, anxiety/fear-based tendencies, and a recent some recent incidents. My expectation was that a trainer would want to understand the specifics of my dog’s behavior before recommending a training plan. Instead, I received what felt like VERY generic responses focused on a 2-week board-and-train program costing thousands of dollars. What was especially frustrating is that my dog already knows many basic obedience commands including sit, stay, place/bed, and recall. Obedience was never my primary concern. My questions were specifically about reactivity, fear, behavior modification, and safety. I repeatedly asked whether they specialize in reactive dogs and positive training methods, but I never received a direct answer. Instead, the conversation kept returning to the board-and-train program, FINANCING OPTIONS, guarantees, and many follow-up marketing emails/text messages. I was also surprised to learn that the program includes a remote collar. Whether that tool is appropriate or not depends heavily on the individual dog, yet nobody discussed why it would be appropriate for my dog’s specific behavioral history before recommending the program. Seems they care most about getting people signed up NO MATTER WHAT and simply GETTING MONEY vs actually considering circumstances completely. Perhaps their program works well for many dogs, but in looking deeper at the reviews - there are some major alarms I see. My experience felt more like entering a sales funnel than having a thoughtful discussion about a complex behavioral issue. I ultimately chose not to move forward.

We sent Stable K9 our 8 month old, 84lb German Shepherd puppy, Raylon. He is our 6th GSD in 43 years, so not our first rodeo.This guy was so headstrong, has brute strength, and wouldn't listen at all. I could not hold him on a leash. He took me down twice. Stable K9 had him for a month and he came home a changed boy. He still had his silly, loving disposition, but he listens, he's learned patience, the obnoxious barking stopped, and he stopped jumping on everyone. My husband has Lewy Body Dementia and has tremors, dizziness and trouble walking unassisted. Brooke trained Raylon to walk on a very short leash as well as a long leash. My husband is able to use the very short leash training to keep the dog on the side of his leg and use the Raylons weight to steady himself. Raylon walks at my husband's slow pace. It's amazing! We will be forever grateful for the hard work they put in to training him into a well trained pet. I would give this review 6 stars if I could. Thank you Brooke!
