All Ears Training

We've been working with Laska and her husband James as a trainer for the past month and it has been a wonderful experience. When we first started our household was in a dire situation with our younger girl cat attacking our older girl cat for weeks with no relief in sight. At the assistance of my daughter I reached out to All Ears and had a conversation with James about our situation that we were facing. He was very upfront and honest about the whole process and we agreed to sign up. Laska came out and did an in home assessment and gave us things to start incorporating into our home. It was a process at first implementing some of the training, but eventually we worked on what we could and found that we have had some progress. There's still some conflict between the cats, but it's much better than what it was at first. With Laska's help we now have tools to help us, it's still a process but we are doing our best and very thankful for Laska's help. She is very kind and cares about what she does, and my family is grateful. Laska and James are great to work with. They are professional, very responsive and extremely knowledgeable about training. She comes to your home or in a public place to work with you and your fur baby. I’ve used them to help me with two dogs I have. The first one is a medical alert service dog who needed some refresher training in a couple of areas. Service dogs in fact need refresher training because they are dogs and not perfect like people expect. The second dog is a family pet who is now 1 year old. Watching my dogs with Laska is an amazing sight to behold. It’s almost like they can read her mind and know exactly what they are supposed to do or not do. I’ve referred her to several friends who recently adopted dogs with some behavioral issues and Laska was able to help them.

We hired All Ears training for our 1 year old pup Maverick . Mav is a golden doodle who would not go in or near our car. We adopted him from Alabama and he arrived in a puppy transport. Apparently this was a traumatic experience for him. Laska our trainer is excellent with Mav and our other 2 pups. By his 3rd lesson he freely jumps in the car and by the 4 th he is going for car rides! We have 5 more sessions and are excited to continue working with Laska.

You cannot ask for a better animal trainer than Laksa! She only employs positive reinforcement training methods. She is gentle, but firm when she needs to be. She recognizes when the animal has "had enough" for one session. She is very encouraging and just great with the animals. She did everything possible to turn our pup into a good canine citizen. The only thing she can't do is ensure that the "pet parents" are as diligent as she is. 😉 (She's way to nice to say, "the problem isn't with your dog, it's that you don't practice enough with her," but we know that's the case.)
