All-Star Dog Training is a locally owned and operated dog training company that focuses on basic obedience, off-leash control, aggression and anxiety. We are also the home of the late great Ripken, the former Bat Dog for the Durham Bulls Minor League Baseball team and Kicking Tee Retriever for the NC State football team! At All-Star Dog Training, we pride ourselves on helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships. I was a small animal veterinarian for 49 years. Now retired, my wife and I share custody of our adult son’s 2 year old Boykin Spaniel. While very smart, he was developing behavioral patterns that we were not able to control- being aggressive to other dogs and even nipping neighbors and delivery drivers. We went to All Star Dog training for a free consultation, and we liked what we saw and heard. The facility was spotless, and the dogs there were not just well behaved, they were wagging their tails off! Our dog’s response to training was very fast, and our trainers ( Grayson and Sam) were fantastic. Over the last several weeks we have made tremendous progress, and our dog seems to actually LIKE the new relationship we have with him. We feel very confident in how to respond to him, and we really could not be more pleased. Charlotte has needed a service like this for a long time, and these guys are a first class team! We recommend them highly!

From the moment we stepped in the door until we had our last lesson, we have been very impressed with the quality of service All Star has provided. Our dog, Hugo, needed to learn basic training and his owners needed training as well! The platform they use (4 full days of training with one hour each day of training the owners) has been very successful with our dog and for us! Grayson and Sam were the primary trainers and they are both excellent. Great communication, positive attitudes and thorough training for Hugo and for us. The entire staff is friendly and professional. We highly recommend!
My wife and I were legitimately surprised with how much Bubba improved in just 3 sessions. Sean was very professional and knowledgeable, and improved our lil guy’s behavior, while also keeping his fun-loving personality! Would definitely recommend.
