Initially, I refused to go on a month-long trip to India with my husband because I DID NOT TRUST the boarding and training facilities and they gouge your money. After a string of frightening experiences, I was going to steer clear of them altogether. I remember bookmarking a training and boarding facility, but I couldn’t find it later. I started reaching out to individuals listed on Bark to track down Traci Nelson’s facility. Fate stepped in when my phone rang on a Sunday while I was searching on the site, and it was Traci herself on the line. I shrieked with joy, and the first words out of my mouth were, “Do you know how long I've been looking for you”? It’s a “miracle!" I finally found Tracy Nelson at AllstarKnine in Coldspring, TX. She was so budget-friendly and upfront. We had to meet her and see the facility before we got too excited, and she scheduled us for the very next day. During our visit, she spent four hours showing us her training techniques—watching her work with other dogs and her own competition dogs—and giving us a tour of her spotless, well-kept facility. Tracy lives on a spacious property with big kennels for play, which instantly put my mind at ease. She quickly assessed our dog, Missy the “Misdemeanor,” and observed our interactions. Her assessment of all THREE of us was 100% correct. She is the REAL DOG WHISPERER, and we couldn’t help but laugh. It was clear we had found the right place for her. Throughout our month away, I kept in touch with Tracy, calling regularly and receiving reassurance through texts and photos. After we got back, she set aside time to go over the training and watched us work with Missy one-on-one to make sure we all three knew what we needed before we left the facility to insure, we can effectively apply what we’ve learned. Now it was our job to keep up with what we all learned. Tracy became like family. I call her all the time with questions. Her passion, expertise, and extensive experience— her own competition dogs —made it easy to trust her with our fur baby. Her budget friendly cost was the icing on the cake. Her dedication is second to none; living on-site means she can keep a close eye on all the dogs, making sure everyone is safe and happy. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracy Nelson for dog training and boarding because she was that diamond you can never find so easily. Facilities and people like that do not exist.

Tracy is nothing short of amazing. Not only a very professional and knowledgeable trainer, but very personal and caring towards the dogs she has in her care. Once training is complete she goes over and above in educating the owner on how to maintain that training, that when followed, will keep your dog on its best behavior. I highly recommend her for all dog training needs, and anyone who says differently, should actually be looked into, as they personally don’t own a dog that’s been trained by Tracy. Yea do your research and see that those who have had their dog trained by Tracy all give 5 star reviews !

Our family had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience at this facility. Our 3-month-old German Shepherd completed a full month of training here and returned home showing signs of fear and distress rather than progress. In fact, she was better behaved and more confident before we dropped her off. Since returning home, she appears traumatized and anxious—almost as if she had come from a rescue situation rather than a professional training program. This was heartbreaking for us, especially given her age and how impressionable she is. She even had terrible wounds on her neck from having her collar on so tight that it left scars. Based on our experience, we would not feel comfortable leaving our dog here again, even for a single night. We strongly encourage other pet owners to do thorough research and proceed with caution. Miss Tracy is incredible. Many of my friends see the difference in my dog. She didn’t just train my dog she helped trained us to train my dog. She is very honest to us. She was able to put my dog into better shape. My dog was getting over weight. I was spoiling her too much which Miss Tracy pointed out I am killing her with kindness. I so glad she said that to me because I love my dog very much and would love for her to stay with our family as long as she can. Those four weeks away from my dog was sad but well worth it. My 4 year old son is able to walk my dog without being pulled. Miss Tracy is awesome. I would definitely recommend bringing your dog here for training. What I loved about her is that she is real. When I searched for a trainer I had nothing but the contractors calling me and they couldn’t even tell me who’s training my dog and they need to assign one.
