Almost Heaven K9 Training

Kali, my 6 month Goldendoodle, just finished her training with Becca. Kali was a TERRIBLE dog to walk- always pulling on the leash, would trip you, eat things off the road, and had no recall. She was also notorious for roaming the house and eating things she shouldn’t. In the first three days of Kali being with Becca, we received a video of her walking perfectly! It was such a huge difference in only three days. Becca kept us updated with pictures, videos, and content on her Instagram and Facebook. It was very hard to leave her, but Becca kept me updated daily! Becca built a great foundation for us to work from. We had a great two hour session on pickup day going through the e-collar, commands, a walk together, and any questions. Kali’s before and after is amazing. We invested in our dog because we want her to have a safe and long future. It was well worth it! I would recommend Almost Heaven K9 Training to any fur parent! Becca is great to work with.

We are owners of two doodles. We were given the recommendation of Almost Heaven K9 Training by a friend who has two graduates of the program. This investment was one of the best decisions for our Sheepadoodle Artie as well as our family. We chose the 16 day Board and Train. Becca treated our dog as one of her own. She communicated daily with us. She sent private videos as well as posts on Instagram with Artie's progress. I picked Artie up on Friday. We are on day 5 at home and I am amazed with our dog. The program is so well thought out and streamlined for dog owners. Becca sets owners up for success. I asked A LOT of questions during our pick up session. she answered EVERY SINGLE ONE. She sends you home with the tools to help your dog thrive and succeed. On Saturday, I took him to the local middle school to practice all the things, I was amazed at what Artie was doing and how happy he was. I have owned a tennis ball thrower for years. I have never been able to use it because I never owned a dog that I was able to have off leash. We played with that tennis ball all while going thru the commands that we were taught. It was FUN. She made it clear what his weaknesses would be and how to work on them. His weaknesses have been challenging but she has checked in and helped guide us through with guidance and encouragement. We are looking forward to sending out other doodle, a Dalmadoodle through the training early next year. Do not question if this is right for your dog and family.......... JUST DO IT!!! Becca and her training program does not disappoint.

I took in a rescue that had been dumped in a neighboring town. He was the Tasmanian devil in the house. He was very destructive and I didn’t trust him with my 5 cats. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I have saved many animals in my adult life their was my biggest challenge. My friend recommend Almost Heaven K9 training and even though I didn’t think anyone could fix him I promised my friend I would follow through. This trainer came to my house and honestly within 15 minutes had him laying on a cot in my dining room with 3 cats and my other dog there to distract him and he never left the cot. She taught him “Place” in 15 minutes. It was a miracle. I would recommend this trainer to anyone. Total Game Changer in my life!!!!

Our family dog, Stanley, just finished the program this past Sunday and today is Thursday. Stanley is an 8 month old Goldendoodle and didn't think we were going to be able to handle or keep him. He was BAD, BAD, BAD! He would jump up on the counters and eat all of the food until he got sick. He would pull so hard on his walks. He barked in his crate non-stop. He jumped on everyone that came over to our home. Potty-training was a complete nightmare. To he honest, this training was our last stop for Stanley before we considered calling his breeder and beg her to pick him up. While this program is a huge investment (as was your dog), Becca teaches your dog to be respectful, how to listen, and keep them safe. The training, overtime, pays for itself in the lack of vet bills you will acquire from having a wild and unruly dog. From the very beginning of the program, Becca sent videos and updates several times throughout the day. She made recommendations that have all been greatly successful. The very first video she sent to me, my family was AMAZED because we could not believe the potential she pulled out of Stanley. THAT WAS ON DAY 1...yes you read that correctly...DAY 1! I have had a very hard time coming up with the words to write anything that would give Becca and her family the appreciation that I have (and they deserve). Not only does she train your dog but she and her family make your dog a family member, not just a dog. I have cried even trying to write this review. I love, love, love Becca. I cannot express that enough. In the past 4 days since Stanley has been home, Becca has communicated with me, answered a dozen questions, checks on Stanley/us, etc. Bottom line, if you need a board and train program, do not call anyone else except Almost Heaven K9 Training. Do not waste your time, do not hesitate to save the money for this because at the end of the day, Becca will transform your dog from a pet to a family member. That feeling does not have a price tag.

I would recommend Becca to any loving dog owner! The board and train program is an investment that is worth every penny. I’ve had my dog Patch for two years. She’s always been sweet, but I could never get her to listen. She has destroyed countless shoes, toys, rugs, etc. And she had zero recall. Our lack of communication was causing both of us anxiety. After two weeks at Almost Heaven, she is her same sweet and goofy self, but also an entirely different dog! She can walk in heel, run off and explore within reason, come back when called. She can stay in place and relax when home. She understands her boundaries. And all my shoes are intact! Becca understands how much we love our pets. I received so many thoughtful updates while Patch was learning. With any training program, you have to be prepared to implement the necessary changes in your life once your dog returns to you. It takes a change in mindset and some work on your part. Patch has only been home for a few days and we have adjusted to our new routine nicely. This isn’t a one-time cure-all, but the foundation to start a beautiful new life with your dog.
