If you want an obedient dog that follows commands unquestioningly for fear of failure or displeasure, Dawn is not the trainer for you. However, if you want a dog who can think for itself and make good decisions, a companion, a partner, then Dawn is your trainer! I have participated in a number of her classes as well as had private training to work with my reactive dog and to refine public access skills for my service dog, She has a large toolbox to pull from and loads of experience, to tailor training to your dog's specific needs, strengths and weaknesses, always respecting what the dog is communicating about the process. Highly recommend!
Dawn is fantastic. The training is perfectly structured and thanks to her, we were able to train our dog and she is on her way to becoming a wonderful companion for life. We cannot thank her enough for her patience in training us!

A relaxed atmosphere for puppy training and a great trainer. Lots of great tips and easy learning for the pup. We highly recommend aloha academy.
