In brief, we are grateful to Kehau for giving our rescue dog a second lease on life as well as giving my husband and I our life back. We did the six week board and train as well as intermittent one on one sessions. We appreciate her commitment to our dogs, particularly our rescue dog who had severe behavioral issues (his story is posted on their website as well). We also appreciate her patience with us - it was a steep learning curve for us at times but she is committed to not only training the dogs but ensuring we felt confident continuing to implement the structure for our dogs to thrive. The crate training, recall, commands, resolved fence fighting, resolved leash pulling, resolved anxious aggression were amazing transformations but nothing more amazing than seeing our dog finally able to just be present in a calm state. She came highly recommended by a couple colleagues and friends, and I am so glad I took their recommendations! If you are reading this, I hope you do too!

We highly recommend Kehau and Aloha Pet Services! Our Cassie was 7 months old when we dropped her off for the 4-week board and train. She was an attention-seeking puppy (in a lot of negative ways), impulsive and in desperate need of obedience training. As I had recently broken my foot and could not get around very well, we thought this was the most efficient way to get Cassie whipped into shape and Aloha Pet Services turned out to be money well spent! She returned to us as a well-mannered dog who listens to commands and knows her place. She is still a puppy who likes to have fun, but she knows her boundaries. We tested her abilities at a recent tailgating event at Minot State University. Cassie enjoyed the event but was not bothered by the people, smells of food or the general activity around her. She stayed in “her place” the entire time! Many people came up to us to mention what a great dog we have. We couldn’t agree more…thanks to Kehau!

Two of our dogs got attacked at the dog park a few years ago and one became very reactive. Kehau worked extensively with us in one-on-one sessions and group sessions to correct the behavior. She has since earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate! We have also done basic obedience and confidence building with our other two dogs. She has given us the resources and education to be able to properly continue training. I recommend her to everyone! We can’t thank her enough for helping us get our sweet baby back to how she was before the attack ❤️
