He helped us train our puppy for obedience and “service” work. We learned so much from him. His prices are reasonable, he’s flexible and really works hard to meet your specific needs. I can’t say enough good things about him. One of the best decisions we made for us and for our dog!

Laz is an amazing trainer. He really helped me with my dogs barking and was extremely supportive in assisting me with any questions I had. He really goes the extra mile and I would recommend him to anyone!

Alpha Buddy Dog Training has been absolutely life-changing for our three-year-old mini poodle, Archie. All we wanted was for him to feel safe and happy in his new home, but he was often paralyzed with fear whenever it came time for walks. It was heartbreaking to see him so terrified. Having had three rescues, my biggest regret is not reaching out to a professional trainer sooner. I used to worry that formal training might be too overwhelming or harsh for a rescue dog, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the moment Laz walked in, his kindness, patience, and gentle approach put Archie right at ease. During that very first visit, Laz helped my husband and me understand that giving Archie clear expectations and guidance would actually ease his anxiety and build his confidence. It completely changed the way we looked at training. Laz also taught us how to respond when Archie is afraid, whether it’s during a rainstorm, after a sudden loud noise, or in other situations that make him anxious. These are things I had never really thought about before, and learning how our own reactions can either reinforce his fear or help him feel safe and confident has been incredibly valuable. We were amazed that after just one session, Archie was noticeably happier and eagerly going on long walks! After only three visits, he is thriving and doing so well. Seeing this change in Archie has meant the world to us. Laz truly has a gift, and we couldn’t recommend him or Alpha Buddy Dog Training more highly, especially to anyone with a fearful or anxious rescue dog!

Amazing trainer. He knows so much about how to bond with dog to make him listen to you. I got a puppy and I was at my wit's end. We still have work to do but we are so much better than we were.

I’ve had a really good experience with Laz at Alpha Buddy Training. He worked with Milo on basic training and some behavioral issues, and I’ve seen a noticeable difference in him. Milo listens better, is easier to manage, and overall his behavior has improved a lot. I’ve also boarded Milo with him, it gives me peace of mind knowing Milo is with someone who knows him, understands his behavior, and takes good care of him. Definitely recommend Laz if you’re looking for someone for training or boarding.
