Alpha Dog K9 Training are the best trainers in the dog training industry! Both Janine & Nick have vast dog training knowledge. They are both immensely attentive, extremely patient, very helpful, kind, & hands on. They not only teach you their training techniques & explain the reasoning behind them, they help you learn to communicate properly with your dog. We have been through two sets of trainers with lackluster results, leaving us feeling completely hopeless. Our Australian labradoodle not only had horrendous resource guarding issues with bones, biting anyone who tried to take his bone away, he also was completely terrible on walks. He pulled the leash & was extremely reactive towards people & other dogs to the point that we couldn’t even be in the same elevator as another dog (it was so bad that I would take the stairs to avoid the elevators & we live on a very high floor). We have used almost every “harness style” recommended by trainers & even bought a choke collar but none of these items worked. Our dog is very intelligent & extremely stubborn but in just one session of training, he stopped pulling on the leash! Daily training with our dog, in combination with the training session with Janine & Nick , he became a well behaved dog. If you put in consistent work as the owner & follow their directions with training your dog daily, you will without a doubt have great results. Now when we walk our dog, he walks by our side, follows commands, has 0 reactivity, & we even get compliments on how well behaved he is. His resource guarding is non existent & we are so thankful for Janine & Nick!! Janine & Nick come directly to your home to train & also offer training at parks with other dogs & even training in various locations, such as stores like Home Depot. One of the most useful services that they provide is ongoing lifetime support from them; from working on any new issue with the dog (if one were to come up), to furthering your dogs training, to meeting up at parks on the weekend with other dogs. We highly recommend Janine & Nick! They completely helped us deepen our bound with our dog, resulting in a life better lived together. We are ever so grateful!

What an amazing, insightful, wonderful and informative experience we had with Janine and Nick. Janine clearly explains how to train your dog step by step, and Nick is the real true Dog Whisperer!!! We couldn’t be happier with their service. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. Our Reese, a rescue Poodle Mix, was a bit of a terror. Other trainers told us to give him back!!! We did not want to do that. That’s when we found Janine and Nick. After the FIRST session, we could see things turning around. With Janine and Nicks guidance, we had a new dog! He learned to walk by our side, listen to commands and was so much calmer than before. Nick even had him walking by his side for a block without a leash!! We can’t thank Alpha Dog K9 Training enough.
