Alpha Dog K9 Training

I was unable to walk my 2 pups, they were resistant and plopped down like a sack of potatoes. In my first session with Janine and Nick we had them walking on leash for the first time. Each week they progressed more and more. Nick and Janine showed me how to fine tune any issues. They now have a great foundation and I will continue with them and progressing more each day. My 2 pups loved seeing Janine and Nick for the training classes which was of course a plus because they were open to learn and listen. I know with this foundation I'll be able to continue their journey on more obedience. I'm already happy with the results but also know with all the tips and training from Janine and Nick that my 2 pups will continue to advance and learn.

Janine and Nick were absolutely amazing, and we're so glad we decided to do in-home training with them for our pup, Max. Their approach allowed them to work with us on real-life situations in the environment where Max actually needed help. For example, they helped us address behaviors like jumping up and going after food on our dining room table- something that was difficult to manage on our own. The personalized, hands-on training made a huge difference. Max is a completely different dog now, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Hello - I am an experienced dog owner who got a labrador retriever as a puppy to join our family. I have two young children and was excited to have them grow up with a dog! We enrolled in the pet shop training classes and he did great with basic commands. However as time went on he got bigger and much harder to control! We started working with Alpha Dog when he was about a year and half. They were absolutely amazing! Cooper (and the family!) Immediately took to their calm but firm demeanor. We signed up for the 10 week plan and each week was better and better. I was absolutely amazed when they had me walking my 90+ lab down the street without a leash! But most importantly they enabled my daughter's to be able to play with Cooper in the backyard without him charging them! The best part of Janine's and Nicks training was that each session was tailored to our exact needs! We did sessions at Petco because he was previously rejected from their groomers :). We did sessions in the backyard with my 9 year old daughter to prevent the charging behavior! My point is not only were they amazing with Cooper they were amazing in understanding out needs and ensuring each issue was addressed and solved! I could go on forever but ill stop here! Janine and Nick were so helpful and their knowledge of training was amazing. They helped us understand what was happening and how to help us understand our Hank . We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help understanding and teaching their fur babies how to be a better animal to their families. Not only have they helped us but they have offered us continued support for as long as we need it. They have truly been wonderful and we will Miss seeing them weekly . Well worth the investment!!!!
