Alpha Love Dog Training

My 9 month old standard poodle jumped all over every ONE who would walk through our door. After working with Amanda for just three weeks … wait for it. She didn’t!!! Today, I armed my lunch guests with kibble to broadcast all over the floor when Roxy jumped … she didn’t! She came into the room … and searched the floor for kibble. My guests were at ease and her person (me) was very proud. Amanda has not only helped us with name recognition, focus, place, stay, walking on a loose leash, but helped with our toy poodle who is at home with techniques to aid him with his separation anxiety. There aren’t enough positive expressions I can convey about our experience with Alpha Love Training! We aren’t finished and wanted to wait until we were done before I left a review, but after today’s victory, I had to share! Do yourself a favor and give her a call!

We have always had dogs,mostly sporting dogs. We have tried training, usually through pet stores, without much success. Just recently we did something different and rescued a Dutch shepherd. We tried private training this time and went with Alpha Love Dog Training. Without a doubt, the best decision we could have made. They're knowledge of dog training and behavior is exceptional. Our Vet recommended Alpha Love Dog to help us with our 5 yr old dog’s latest anxieties, including separation anxiety. We were so impressed with Amanda as we discussed Maxx’s issue and symptoms over the phone, that we immediately signed up for 4 private lessons. Just after ONE lesson of her suggestions, Maxx’s anxieties started to melt away!! What a huge difference. As we progressed with the lessons, Amanda taught us on how to develop a more confident pup! We now have our happy go lucky pup back again ! Thank you Amanda! We won’t go anywhere else. When in need, we now know where to go to get the proper training WE need to be better dog parents!!

Amanda and Garrett have been great with our high strung, fairly anxious and high energy GSP, and with helping us continue her training. It's so rewarding having her respond correctly to our commands. We've done both board & train and private lessons. Kona is so much better behaved than before, and I have a much better handle on how my behavior reinforces better outcomes. Each time we train with them we learn more about how to work with her to get the best from her.
