Alpha & Omega Working Dogs - Dog Training

Alpha and Omega is positively the best dog training program! The entire staff is kind, patient, and experts at training dogs. The owners Karli and Ray will embrace you and your dog like family, and help you reach your goals. My one year old Leonberger, Bowie, and I have achieved completion of basic obedience, canine good citizenship, and are currently working on off leash obedience and therapy dog training. Owning a therapy dog has been a dream of mine, and alpha and omega is helping make my dreams come true 💕

We made the decision to use AO working dogs after we welcomed a newborn into our home. Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi was showing signs of uncomfortableness towards our new addition and we knew something had to be done. AO working dogs has made our house a safe place for both our dog and son. It took months of hard work and commitment but we now have a happy dog and a baby who are great friends. They play fetch, our dog allows him to share his toys, they play chase and overall have a great relationship. We were afraid at a time that this would not be possible. We learned how to read dog body language, teach our dog that we are the leaders of our pack, basic obedience skills and so much more. Our journey at AO has not come to an end and we now are committed to staying consistent with training and to be responsible dog owners especially with a child. We brought our two dogs to Alpha Omega Working Dogs thinking we’d never be able to take them places and enjoy ourselves, Annabelle was very leash reactive and Charlie was anxious and unsure in public. We all but had left the idea of taking our dogs hiking behind. After hard work and diligence from the trainers at Alpha Omega, we have two well behaved dogs. When my police department gave me the green light to start a therapy dog program I was thrilled. I became the proud handler of K9 Ripley! At 10 months old we started our training journey with Alpha and Omega. Ripley has come leaps and bounds in her obedience, and I owe it all to the fantastic team at A&O. They have been nothing short of wonderful, supportive, and accommodating of my often changing schedule. From group classes to private sessions, dog gone fun day camp, and now even treadmill work at 1 years old Ripley is a rockstar! I owe it all to the dedication, support and hard work at A&O! Highly recommend for anyone looking for even basic dog training. Ripley is a huge part of the PD now and I know with A&O’s help she will do great things serving her community and being a friend to her brothers and sisters in blue!
