Hello! My name is Kristin, and this is my Corgi, Sadie Sue. We're currently enrolled in training at Alpha School of K9 Obedience, and I'm absolutely thrilled to share our experience so far. Sadie Sue and I have successfully completed Basic Obedience, Smart Dog, Advanced Obedience and are enrolled in Canine Good Citizen. Our journey with Alpha School of K9 Obedience is continuing as we transition to therapy dog certification classes. From the moment we walked onto the training field, we felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for as students, human and canine. Robert and Claire are an amazing “Father-Daughter Duo” that bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to the field. What truly sets Alpha apart are the instructors! Instructor Claire is an absolute gem. She's incredibly patient, not only with Sadie Sue, who is newly adopted and getting to know her FUREVER Mommy, but also with me. She takes the time to explain the rationale behind each training technique, ensuring I understand the "why" as well as the "how." She's also incredibly observant and has offered personalized advice tailored to Sadie Sue's specific personality and learning style. I never feel rushed or judged, and she's always available to answer my questions, even outside of class time. I can tell she truly loves dogs and is invested in their success. Instructor Robert's extensive experience as a dog trainer and K-9 Officer with the SPD is undeniable. His expertise shines through in every session, demonstrating not only a deep understanding of canine behavior but also a remarkable ability to communicate effectively with both dogs and their owners. Robert's training methods are not only effective but also humane, fostering a positive and trusting relationship between dog and owner. His dedication to his craft is evident in the remarkable transformations he facilitates, turning even the most challenging dogs into well-behaved companions. Robert's passion for dogs and their well-being is truly inspiring, making him an exceptional trainer and a valuable asset to the community. I had a great experience with Alpha School of K9 Obedience! I have a stubborn dog who struggled with focus and listening, but after working with Rob and Claire, that has changed.
