I applied because I have multiple issues after being shot in the head twice and beaten with a baton stick until it broke. They didn't keep me informed. I had to ask about every step of the way. Every time I emailed them, I'd receive an email saying that that person no longer worked for them and that my email was forwarded to the proper person. Every. Single. Time. Then I was told by them that they train the dogs for health issues such as seizures along with the ptsd issues. Then another person there said that they only train the dogs for ptsd. At the end of all of this, after I sent another email asking what the status of my application was to which they never replied, I received a letter in the mail saying that I was denied because they don't think I have the memory skills needed to take care of a dog. The other reason was because my injury didn't happen on the job. They should have stated that in the beginning. I had told them my story on my application. Why did it take over a year for them to tell me that? Extremely disappointed in this organization.
