AK9I is a SDVOSB that specializes in real world K-9 solutions. From training of both the handler and dog, to the sale of green and fully trained dogs, we are a full service K-9 solutions provider. We also have operational K-9 teams available for short or long term requirements. We have a variety of K-9 handler training courses available, and have the ability to do custom and mobile courses as well. We have operational K-9 teams ready for immediate deployment anywhere in the U.S. that are trained in explosives (both regular EDD as well as Mobile Odor), narcotics, and bed bugs. Do you guys offer temp. Housing for students enrolled in the trainer/handler school?
Yes, AK9I has great dorms on one of the training sites. Very comfortable and beautiful setting in Zuni, VA.

Best School I've been to in a 10 year career in USMC. Being a Marine coming here (graduated Feb) after getting out I knew there'd be some fellow veterans who would be on some dumb stuff. Didn't expect it from the 18D Army SF medic and SMU/CIA guy (They graduated in Dec or Jan) Never met two "men" who tried starting arguments with people or complained more about what other people were doing. Guess that's what happens when you're jealous.

I recently toured the school with my wife before committing to attending AK9I later this year. Michelle has been our point of contact and also conducted the tour. She has been amazing with answering all of our questions and super accommodating with showing us around the campus. We were very impressed with the grounds of the school, how the canines were housed and managed as well as the friendliness of all staff and instructors we came across. I am excited to attend later this year and from what we can tell, I will gain an enormous amount of knowledge and experience that will make a huge impact on my future.

I have been to numerous courses within the States but AK9I stands above them all. The information and experience I had gained there cannot be matched. I have worked in the trainer capacity and now working as an explosive handler preparing to hopefully enter back into the trainer realm. With AK9Is' name behind you, there's nothing you feel that you can't do.
