We had an excellent experience with Nellie training our Labrador, Weller, for two weeks. She made a noticeable impact, teaching him basic obedience and multiple commands. We especially appreciated the regular photo and video updates, which provided us a real peace of mind. Nellie built a great bond with Weller, and it’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she trains as if they were her own. On pickup day she took the extra time to educate us about all of the commands Weller had learned and allowed us to practice each one while answering all of our questions. We’re very happy with the results and look forward to working with her again. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience with American K9 Dog Training, especially working with Nellie during the 3-week board and train. She was awesome—super easy to work with, really knowledgeable, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs. Before training, things were a little chaotic with Dilly Pickles (8 month old puppy), especially with three small kids as well. Now it honestly feels like we have a completely different dog. Dilly Pickles is calmer, listens so much better, and we’re actually able to enjoy her as part of the family instead of constantly feeling stressed. The kids are loving playing with her outside, helping walk her, and snuggles during a movie. Nellie did an amazing job understanding our dog and setting her up for success, and she made sure we knew how to keep everything going at home too. The whole experience just felt very supportive and positive. We’re so grateful and would definitely recommend Nellie and the program to anyone—especially families with young kids!

Sarah at AmericanK9 is amazing! We were looking for training for our new 4 month old puppy Bentley and after researching decided to go with AmericanK9. We are so glad we did. We were struggling as new puppy parents and needed much help and guidance with our journey. Our trainer Sarah is the BEST! She transformed our high energy, stubborn pup into a well behaved good listener. She sent us pictures and videos daily and her training has paid off. She truly is a Godsend. We did 2-week board and train for a hyper, distracted 6 month old lab with Nellie. She worked miracles and made a huge turnaround with our pup. She updated us every day and then invested a good 90 minutes to demonstrate and give us tips on how to get the most out of what was trained. Nellie was personable, professional and patient the entire time.We genuinely look forward to continuing our training with her. We’re so glad we did this and recommend it if you’re considering it.
