Angelic Paws Training and Boarding

We hired Angelic Paws to help us train our new Bernese mountain dog puppy. We had her for 6 weeks of training. The taught us so many useful skills and approaches to use with our dog. Not just flashy tricks but the things that matter- things that will result in a well mannered trustworthy dog. She was always helping us with any questions we had and continues to support us even though our 6 week training session has ended. She truly is a hidden gem here in southwest Wisconsin! Kristin is absolutely amazing!! I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone. Our new puppy was originally trained on a grass pad in the house and having several accidents off of it because he couldn’t decipher what was ok inside and not. We were at a complete loss and contemplated selling the dog. We contacted Angelic Paws Dog Training and she boarded our puppy and trained him. He came back a completely different dog! He is completely trained outdoors now and never uses the grass pad and absolutely zero accidents! We can’t thank her enough for the time she put in with our dog and the work she did! Our puppy was a Christmas gift for our daughter so she is over the moon excited that he came back a very well trained dog and we don’t have to contemplate selling him now!!! Kristin is an incredible trainer. She trained us how to use positive reinforcement as a way to teach our puppy basic skills, as well as more complex skills. The way she taught us allowed us to work progressively until the next session where we would learn even more skills. Our puppy was able to pick up on skills and manners incredibly fast with her methods, as well as exercise his mind and build confidence. We highly recommend her!!

Kristin is amazing! She teaches you how to train your dog and gives you the tools to deal with different situations when they pop up on your own. And if you’re not sure how to handle something she’ll answer any questions you have in between sessions. Every session is formed around the needs of you and your dog. If something new comes up she’ll adapt the session to help you with that. I also happened to get a second dog while we were training and she immediately helped me with them both. She worked with me when I needed to reschedule a couple of sessions and she was amazing with my dog the whole time, he loved seeing her walk through the door. I can’t say enough nice things about her and her training style. I can’t recommend her enough!
