Animal Academy of the Emerald Coast

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Crystalle! She is incredibly kind and caring towards animals, and her expertise in training is simply outstanding. Her vast knowledge extends beyond dogs to a wide range of animals, including birds, goats, and even porcupines! I was amazed at how well she worked with my dogs firsthand. She truly knows what she's doing and is a master at her craft. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking top-notch training for their beloved furry friends. Five stars all the way!

We were asked to take in Remy because of his severe resource guarding. He was actually scheduled to be euthanized due to serious, severe, and frequent bites. To say that it was a difficult situation would be an understatement, but we were willing to try. Enter Crystalle from Animal Academy of the Emerald Coast. She was there from the beginning, helping us to successfully introduce him to our other dogs and ensuring that the transition into our home went smoothly. She even spotted issues with our other dogs and taught us how to treat those through various training techniques to create a more stable and cohesive environment for all of our dogs. She then worked with us in person, over zoom, and over the phone to navigate Remy's extreme resource guarding. Through several months of training, hard work, and a lot of patience, he got better and better (and so did we with our dog parenting!). We are going on 2 years of being bite free!! I absolutely loved Crystalle as a trainer for multiple reasons. First and foremost, I admired her absolute respect and care for each animal as an individual. She is gentle, but firm, and recognizes that different dogs need different approaches. Crystalle also recognizes that different homes operate in different ways and is excellent at inquiring about routines and personalities in the home and then tailoring her training approaches accordingly. She also teaches and explains in depth - I learned so much from her regarding animal body language, thought process, and reactions. Crystalle is thorough, clear with her instructions and suggestions, but most of all, is compassionate to both her animal and human clients. I can't recommend her enough.

Crystalle will not only take the time to create a custom training plan for you and your animal, but is so easy and enjoyable to work with. She is always so patient and encouraging and explains things in a way that makes sense to you. She clearly puts her whole heart into everything and creates a genuine connection with each animal she touches. You can rest assured whatever animal you are needing help with is in the best of hands! You will leave feeling armed with knowledge and support, (as well as a new friend)! I highly recommend her to any friends and family in need of training services! Her application of knowledge across varying species gives her an edge over your average pet dog trainers out there. Much more than you'll get with a franchise PetSmart/Petco trainer!
