This is the beginning of obedience work. Every dog should be proficient in these basic skills. It will make him/her a welcome companion anywhere, any time. Novice is taught in 8 private lessons. You get a written lesson plan and lessons are planned according to your calendar. Lessons are paid for at the end of each lesson, not in advance.
This is the second level of obedience. OPEN involves retrieving dumbbells on the flat, over jumps, down on recall, and heeling off-lead. This is very gratifying and fun work not only for your dog but you also! OPEN prepares your dog for our MOVIE DOG Class

This is a one-time counseling session designed for the family who is anticipating the arrival of a new puppy. We go over all the things that are normal and natural for a puppy to do but which can be expensive and annoying. We will show you how to set up a "management system" in your home so that all his/her needs are covered, from house breaking to the dreaded "separation anxiety". The puppy has a few basic needs and if we are aware of them and fulfill them then everyone lives happily ever after.

Dogs that have completed Novice and Open classes are eligible for Search and Rescue training. These dogs are trained to the point of qualifying for the national certification of "Mission Ready". This class lasts for an extended period of time, depending on the talent of the dog and handler.
Therapy dog trainingProgram details
This is one session only. It is for dogs that are competent in Novice and it is designed to prepare the dog to pass the test given by Therapy Dogs International.

I would recommend this training program to anyone. Both my husband and myself learned more from Alene than we ever expected. We have a wonderful loving and now trained wheaten named teddy. We have since moved back to Seattle and miss all the dog walks and just all the hands on training we received. I learned that training a dog is not as ez as I thought. But having now a trained dog take anywhere is such a joy and worth all the effort. We had the best experience and so did Teddy.

I heard about Animal Actors and Aline from a co-worker when Ibwas in search of a dog trainer for my behavior rescue pup. I was weary of shock collar training but quickly fell in love with it because of how it grabs my pups attention. Our behavior will never be perfect but at least she's well behaved in public and we are both significantly less stressed when we go out!

I can’t even count the amount of ah-ha moments I had when Aline would breakdown the reasoning and logic of how the dog brain works. Her classroom was always clean and cool!! I can’t thank Aline enough for the guidance she has given me to be able to have such a well-mannered pitbull/husky mix. Scarlett adores Aline, as do I! I can’t thank Aline enough for the time she spent educating me and taking both Scarlett and I under her wing! I recommend Aline and Animal Actors of Arizona to everyone!

I completed Animal Actors obedience class with my Doberman Waylon. Aline’s guidance was informative and encouraging through every step. After completing the classes, Waylon has been so fun to have as a companion that I can fully trust with anyone, take anywhere, and enjoy his personality without the naughty behaviors. Waylon has his ESA certificate and will now go on to complete search and rescue and then therapy dog training. We love him so much and are so grateful for Animal Actors of Arizona!
