Ann Becnel Companion Dogs

Ann Becnel has been a huge help in training our very excitable Doberman puppy. I wanted a positive reinforcement trainer, and I'm very thankful to have found Ann. Her Puppy class and Canine Good Citizen class (currently enrolled) have been extremely helpful in enabling our dog to be around other dogs and people without "losing his mind". We've also really benefited from her private lessons. Ann is very knowledgable and patient; she's great at sharing games and videos to help with various issues. I'm so grateful to Ann, and I highly recommend her and her training methods.

When I enrolled my dog in the Canine Good Citizen training class, I was worried that he could not handle being around other dogs and people. I had a very nervous, long-haired chihuahua who barked and lunged at people and other dogs. After faithfully attending class with Ann every week, my dog Banjo has completely changed. He does not react negatively to dogs on the street and even let the postman pet him - that was a first! Ann emphasizes positive reinforcement and it works! She sends practice videos and other exercises to do outside of class. She asks if anyone has certain issues they want to address at the beginning of each class. My dog really blossomed due to her guidance. Highly recommended!
