Wow! Just wow! We truly cannot say enough good things about Jake at Anvil Training! We're from Chattanooga, TN, so having such an incredible trainer right here in the area has been amazing. Before training, our pit bull, Rufus, struggled so much that we couldn’t even walk him without being yanked around in every direction. We had to constantly avoid other dogs and even people, which made apartment living incredibly stressful. Before training, anytime Rufus saw another dog or person it sent us into immediate panic and he would snap right away dragging us and barking. We enrolled him in the 3-week Board & Train program, and he came home like a brand new dog. He still has his goofy, fun personality, but now he has the confidence, manners, and obedience we always hoped for. One of the first update photos Jake sent us completely shocked us—Rufus was snuggled up next to a smaller dog with two other dogs nearby! Before training, that would have been absolutely unimaginable. Now we can confidently take him out in public and walk right past kids, adults, and other animals without worrying. The progress he's made is incredible, and it's honestly changed our lives. Jake provided a safe, structured environment where Rufus could build confidence while learning how to make better choices. We are beyond grateful for the time, care, and dedication he put into our dog. If you're looking for a trainer in the Chattanooga or East Ridge area, we cannot recommend Anvil Training enough. It was worth every single penny. Even though we're lucky to be local, we would drive across the country if it meant getting to train with Jake again. He's that good. Thank you, Jake, for giving us our confidence back and helping Rufus become the best version of himself. We are forever grateful!

This has to be one of the kindest people I have ever spoken too I called and ask for a quote after I told him I couldn’t afford it he still sat there and explained for over 20 minutes on how to potty train my dog on his dime for someone to go out of there way even knowing they won’t get money out of the interaction he still sat there and gave me some very good advice if I was going to take my dog to anyone it would be him

We had the pleasure of adopting our dog, Beau from Jake. We waited a couple of weeks before writing this because it’s easy to be excited the first day you bring a dog home. We wanted to see what life looked like once everyone settled in. After two weeks, I can honestly say Beau has been everything Jake said he would be. He’s housebroken, crate trained, great with people and other dogs, and has made the transition into our home about as smoothly as we could have hoped. The biggest surprise is that every few days we discover something else he already knows. It’s clear Jake spent a lot of time building a solid foundation instead of just teaching commands. What I appreciate most is that Beau still acts like a young dog. He gets excited, he has opinions about squirrels, and he’s still learning. The training didn’t make him robotic, it just gave him structure and confidence. We’re only two weeks in, so I’m sure there will be things we’ll continue working on together over the next several years. The foundation that has built will make all the difference. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better-trained dog at a year and a half old. Jake did an incredible job, and we’re grateful Beau ended up with him before he ended up with us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (from Copper) Hey guys, Copper here! As many of you know, I am a tiny, ferocious beast. A menace. A gremlin. A highly advanced chaos goblin with four paws and absolutely no regrets. But when I met Jake at Anvil K9, I finally met my match. ⭐ 5-star accommodations ⭐ 5-star education ⭐ 5-star restaurant ⭐ 5-star enrichment ⭐ 5-star adventure package The human, however? Only 4 stars. Now don’t get me wrong—Jake is a good dude. Smart. Patient. Fair. Knows his dog stuff. But my man smells way too good. Jake, buddy, you gotta dial it back. Lose the deodorant. Roll in something questionable. Maybe a dead fish. You’re setting unrealistic standards for the rest of us. Every time a lady dog came by, she’d sniff me once and then look at Jake like he was a fresh rotisserie chicken. Frankly, it was becoming a problem for my social life. Mom even abandoned me for FOUR WHOLE WEEKS—plus a couple extra days—so she could go spend time with who she says is my future girlfriend. I guess we will see. Extremely suspicious behavior if you ask me. I considered filing a complaint. But I have to admit, I learned a ton. I came home with better manners, better focus, better obedience, and significantly fewer opportunities where I choose to embarrass myself in public. Would I recommend Anvil K9 and Jake? Absolutely. Would I trust them with my life? Without question. Would I trust Jake around my future wife? Still evaluating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Copper Tiny Ferocious Beast, Professional Good Girl, and Victim of Jake’s Excessive Freshness Five stars. Would board again. Jake is still suspiciously well-groomed for a human, but nobody’s perfect. 🐾😂
