FirstBarkNikki has been very helpful with our golden retriever puppy. I was specifically looking for a trainer who could help us without using treats. We have worked through some annoying behavioral issues around this house with great success. She listens well and has helped us understand how to work with him. I would recommend her to anyone looking for one on one training!

Nikki is awesome! I have 2 dogs, one is older and the other is just under two years old. Neither is out of control or major nuisance, but there was room for improvement. The younger one is leery of people and a bit skittish. At our first meeting the young one walked up to Nikki and allowed herself to be pet and she was at ease. We are just about a month into training and all is going well. The dogs have responded well to the training and I've seen significant improvement.
Apparently decided that keeping appointments isn't worth the effort, nor is canceling in advance. Trainer is utterly ineffective due to not being present. Wasted 2 Saturdays on this woman, 0/10. If you'd have emailed Mike apologetically, and actually taken ownership of your *multiple* mistakes, we could have worked something out. Instead, you've been flaky, hard to get a hold of, and you sent a pretty unprofessional email to him in a rage because of this review (which wasn't as nicely worded as your response below). Frankly, we really really wanted this to work out, and it sucks learning that someone we thought could've genuinely helped us with some issues turned out to be just totally unprofessional.
I've had my boarding business for almost 15 yrs. now, and met Nikki through one of my clients. I really liked the way she worked with some of the more difficult dogs and she was very open and willing to work with the dogs in my setting, which is important to me. I continue to recommend Nikki to my clients and am very happy with her training techniques!
Nikki did a wonderful job with my stubborn but cute pitbull. Her methods are quite productive. My pit is now much less leash aggressive. I highly recommend Nikki for training!
