Any Breed Training

Our labradoodle puppy has sensitive tummy. Nikki's no treats method worked really well for us. As first time dog owners we benefited tremendously from Nikki's knowledge, experience and her straight forward hands on approach. Prior to getting Nikki's help we went to a series of training classes at a local facility. We didn't really learn much since we spent most of the time trying to use treats to calm our puppy down. After the first session we were able to control Mochi's jumping. After the second session we were able to walk Mochi without her pulling. Then we learned how to navigate trails, city streets and dog parks, etc. With the knowledge Nikki taught us we are now confident dog owners with a puppy who is on her way to be a well behaved companion and hiking partner.

If we could give Any Breed Training 10 Stars, we would. From taking our dog Max for walks to having people over, Max was a little overactive. Nikki gave us the tools we needed and the guidance. This past Thanksgiving, our son noted how well behaved Max was. And this past weekend, we took Max for his first hike... there was no more barking at people or trying to jump on them. When we allowed people to pass, he would sit and let them pass. We even had one couple compliment us on how well behaved our dog was. A year ago, we would not have been able to take him with us, but today because of working with Nikki we feel confident in taking him out with us. Nikki worked with us and Max, all the while still allowing Max to be the Beagle he is.

Nikki is a great trainer and clears communicator! She has been helping us train our new puppy. She is able to hone in on clear concepts, and listens well to what is important to us. It is clear we could have done better with our other dogs! She gradually increases the amount of distraction based on the progress our puppy is making, reinforces the previous lessons and is able to problem solve with us as new issues arise. I highly recommend her to you. She came to our house, met us at easy to get to places, was always on time and very flexible. She even laughed at my husband's jokes!!!!

If you are looking for a trainer you should stop looking now and hire Nikki! My husband and I adopted two cattle dog mixes from a rescue at 8 months old and we were struggling to potty train them, teach them to be attentive to us, walk them comfortably and, in general, train them to be the dogs we wanted for our family (and knew they could be). We had tried another facility, in both group and private lessons, that was not helping at all. Even after our first session, she taught my husband and I so much that it changed how our dogs responded to us almost instantly. Every session has felt like its own little miracle and has made the bond between us and our pups so much stronger. Her reviews are why we reached out to her and I would like to affirm that they are all true. If you need help with your dog then I hope for your sake you hire her!
