Apollo Dog Training

I simply can't say enough about Julia. She's AMAZING! My rescue dog is nuts about her. This dear boy, whom I'd been working with for a couple years, loves everyone.....when I'm with him. But when I'm not, he would fall apart. He would't let anyone near him--he'd run away. Even people he loves, like my family! Made it impossible for me to be away from him. No housesitter could get near him or get him back in the house at night. But then Julia came into his life, thankfully! Julia knew how to read all his "signs" and had him coming up to her on the first visit. It didn't take long before he was CRAZY about her. I mean, leaping and jumping with joy when he sees her--even when I'm not with him! She drops by from time to time when I'm not there, to love on him and he can't get close enough to her. She is now in the process of teaching him to leave the house with her. Then, trusting others when I'm not around. I never would have dreamed he'd have come so far so fast, but Julia understands dogs like no one I've ever seen or heard of before. Now, when we're going to see Julia, I tell him, "You're going to see your GIRLFRIEND!" She's also helped me to teach him some more obedience--something I hadn't been able to accomplish because he was so fearful. He's much happier and more independent, and I'm happier and can actually take a trip!

Julia helped so much with the anxiety our younger dog had when moving from NY to TX. She worked with both our dogs and myself to help us make the transition to a more densely populated living situation. Her methods are very respectful and gentle with the dogs. She obviously understands what it takes to raise a calm, well behaved dog. Thank you for helping us to understand our dogs better which resulted in more relaxed and happy dogs.
