Private lessons are conducted in your home, at a location you prefer or you can request they be held here at our Canine Training Center. - 5 Day School Package
Program details
This one-week day school program is a great value combining daycare with an hour of training with your dog. Our certified dog trainers will be training your dog for an hour each day, which saves you the upfront work. At the point you are ready to begin working with your dog, our dog trainer will go over what the dog has learned and what you need to do to maintain or advance your dogs skills. Benefits: As much upfront work as you would like done is done by our professional dog trainers. This allows the dog to learn faster, and not be held up by any dog training learning curve. This makes training down the road easier on you, the dog owner. Since your dog is our daycare, your hourly training rate is discounted because of the time flexibility it allows Applause Your Paws to schedule these sessions. Your dog will be around the distraction of daycare and the activity at our canine training center, which gives them distractions to learn around. As an additional benefit, your dog will have had exercise and social interactions with other canines throughout the day. This also allows us to really get to know your dog, and know what areas that they need the most training. Included in the Day-Train Package: 1) 1 hour a day of training for your dog 2) a phone call follow-up from your dogs trainer 3) daycare with other canines for the rest of the day (play, socializing, and resting) 4) reinforcing what your dog has learned whenever appropriate throughout the day. · Listed price: From $399.00

What is pick-up time?
For our day-school program, drop off is 8-10AM, pick up is 4-6PM. It benefits dogs in this program to be in early and be picked up late so they can enjoy all the benefits of this daycare + training service. Our day school program runs Monday to Friday. We do offer dog-training services (private lessons, group classes, board+train) 7 days a week!

Since starting day school, I’ve seen such a noticeable improvement in her behavior and overall confidence. It’s clear that the team truly invests time and care into each dog’s development. One of the things I appreciate most is the daily report cards. They provide great insight into what Oreo worked on each day, along with helpful suggestions on how I can continue reinforcing those skills at home. It really makes me feel involved in her progress. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell that all the dogs enjoy being there, which gives me so much peace of mind. Every step of the process has been seamless; from the friendly and prompt support from Taryn when scheduling or answering questions, to Alex A. always greeting Oreo with so much love, and Alex B. As welll as all of the other wonderful trainers who contribute to her success. I truly look forward to seeing Oreo’s continued growth and success with Applause Your Paws. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and professional environment for their dog.

We had an amazing experience with AYP, especially with Alex as our trainer. Our dog Loki is very smart and loving, but he definitely had some behavioral issues going in. He’s five months old, and we were honestly worried we might have missed the window or that he wouldn’t respond as well to training. After just two weeks, the difference in him was incredible. He came back more structured, responsive, and overall so much more obedient. Alex was in constant communication with us, sending daily videos and updates, which made us feel really comfortable while Loki was there. It was clear from the start how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. What really sets Alex apart is how much knowledge he has and how well he explains it. He doesn’t just tell you what to do, he explains why your dog is reacting a certain way and why one approach works better than another. It helped us understand Loki on a completely different level. His training is clearly tailored to each dog, not a one-size-fits-all approach, and that made a huge difference. He makes it all seem easy, even though we know it takes real skill. What stood out most is how happy Loki was throughout the entire process. The way he reacted when he saw Alex again said everything. And even more importantly, the training actually carried over once he got home. He didn’t come back acting like he could ignore us. He’s just as responsive and well-behaved at home as he was there, which says a lot about the quality of the training. We also feel so much more confident moving forward with the tools and guidance we were given, and it’s reassuring to know they’re always available if we need additional support. Taryn was also incredibly helpful from the beginning. She answered all of my questions, was very responsive, and made the whole process easy, even on short notice. Overall, every interaction we had was positive. We would absolutely trust them with Loki again and will be recommending them to everyone we know.
I am happy to share my experience with AYP. I was apprehensive to leave my puppy for the boarding with training , but from day one Alex B made me feel confidant that I had made the right choice. Phoebe is a rescue and was very fearful of new environments and other dogs. She gained confidence and has learned so much. Thank you Alex for always sending daily videos and updates.
