Private lessons are conducted in your home, at a location you prefer or you can request they be held here at our Canine Training Center. Private lessons are ideal for people who: ~Have time to work with their dogs everyday between lessons ~Love to be hands on with your dog during the training process ~Prefer the trainer to come directly to your home, park or location you specify ~Want a very customizable training program ~Want to learn more about dog training techniques, behavior and how animals learn ~Are hesitant to come to group class for the first time with other dogs and students ~Have a dog with a medical concern ~Have a dog-reactive or dog aggressive dog Private lessons allow your dog training instructor to give you 1 on 1 attention in the comfort of your home, at a time that is most convenient for you, and your family. - 5 Day School Package
Program details
This one-week day school program is a great value combining daycare with an hour of training with your dog. Our certified dog trainers will be training your dog for an hour each day, which saves you the upfront work. At the point you are ready to begin working with your dog, our dog trainer will go over what the dog has learned and what you need to do to maintain or advance your dogs skills. Benefits: As much upfront work as you would like done is done by our professional dog trainers. This allows the dog to learn faster, and not be held up by any dog training learning curve. This makes training down the road easier on you, the dog owner. Since your dog is our daycare, your hourly training rate is discounted because of the time flexibility it allows Applause Your Paws to schedule these sessions. Your dog will be around the distraction of daycare and the activity at our canine training center, which gives them distractions to learn around. As an additional benefit, your dog will have had exercise and social interactions with other canines throughout the day. This also allows us to really get to know your dog, and know what areas that they need the most training. Included in the Day-Train Package: 1) 1 hour a day of training for your dog 2) a phone call follow-up from your dogs trainer 3) daycare with other canines for the rest of the day (play, socializing, and resting) 4) reinforcing what your dog has learned whenever appropriate throughout the day. · Listed price: From $399.00

What is pick-up time?
For our day-school program, drop off is 8-10AM, pick up is 4-6PM. It benefits dogs in this program to be in early and be picked up late so they can enjoy all the benefits of this daycare + training service. Our day school program runs Monday to Friday. We do offer dog-training services (private lessons, group classes, board+train) 7 days a week!

We found Applause Your Paws because our two dogs got into a big fight. We could not even keep them in the same room together after their incident. It was not a quick fix, but because of the diligent efforts of AYP, our dogs are best friends again and play all the time together. They are continuing their training there to focus on their individual needs - one was very reactive to other dogs. She has now gotten to the point where she can give appropriate corrections if a dog won’t leave her alone and can disengage easily from uncomfortable situations. We are so grateful to the team and recommend AYP very highly if you are looking for a place for your pup!

All the trainers are very attentive and patient with her and really tailor her training sessions to her needs. I love reading her reports and seeing videos of her training. And I love that she’s able to have new experiences there. She’s always so happy to get there and never wants to leave. Alex in the play yard is her favorite! Everyone on the team has been great and I’m grateful she has a place to go that she loves. She gets home tired and happy whenever she has school.

I’ve been with Applause Your Paws since my dog Luna was a puppy, and truly can’t say enough good things about them. I started with a few puppy classes and learned so much about how to properly care for, train, and understand my dog. From there, we continued with training, and I’m so happy to see how much she has improved! Now Luna attends daycare twice a week, and absolutely loves it! The best part is seeing her excitement. She cries with joy when she realizes she’s going to daycare to see her friends. The sense of community is incredible. The trainers genuinely care about each dog and their well being. I trust them completely and wholeheartedly. Thanks to them Luna is happy and thriving!
I have been a customer of Applause Your Paws for so many years now. The team is absolutely incredible, I am a nervous wreck about anybody watching or handling my two boys and this is the only place I trust! The staff is knowledgeable, super communicative and I know my dogs are in great hands whenever I drop them off at AYP! ❤️
