After adopting a fearful dog, I needed help & exposure for my puppy. Doggy daycare wasn’t an option for me. My vet recommended AQK9 (green flag right away), and Tiffany’s Puppy Prep School was exactly what I was searching for. Tiffany is the real deal. She is extremely knowledgeable and wants to see your dog succeed. I’ve witnessed many, many of her clients dogs in action during drop off and pick up and it’s nothing short of amazing. These are the best trained & most well behaved dogs you will meet & it’s due to Tiffany’s guidance and the owners putting in the work. This is truly a community of responsible dog owners who train & have fun doing it. Worth every penny!

If you’re willing to put in the work, I can’t recommend Tiffany and AQK9 highly enough. The results speak for themselves—you’ll end up with a better dog and the confidence to handle them anywhere. We started training with Tiffany when Scout was about 6 months old. He had all the typical puppy problems: pulling on the leash, barking and jumping at people and dogs, leash biting, poor recall, no sit stays, and very little impulse control. Over the past 20 weeks we’ve completed Beginner Obedience Levels 1 and 2, Drop & Train sessions, private lessons, and e-collar training. Today, Scout walks on a loose leash almost perfectly, has an excellent recall, reliable place command and sit stays, and is much calmer around distractions. At only 10 months old, he behaves better than the vast majority of dogs we encounter. What makes Tiffany different is that she doesn’t just train dogs—she teaches owners. Her philosophy of “work the dog, not the exercise” has completely changed how I approach training. She tailors every lesson to each dog and handler, makes sure everyone understands the “why,” and is always willing to answer questions. The first few weeks were challenging, especially as a first-time dog owner, but looking back they built the foundation for everything that followed. Tiffany held me accountable, helped me become more consistent, and gave me confidence as a handler. Tiffany’s standards are high, but that’s exactly why the results are so good. If you want a trainer who will make both you and your dog better, AQK9 is absolutely worth it.

BOARD & TRAIN: We brought our 9 month old Pomeranian Zeke to Tiffany for the 4-week Board & Train in April. He was always very excitable, and he barked at everyone and everything. I took 2 classes with him and worked with him at home, but I just couldn’t get him trained. I want to get him certified as a therapy dog, so I can visit different facilities with him - but I thought it would probably take me two years of classes before he could pass the testing. We decided to speed up the training process with Tiffany’s board & train. (This is my third Pom, so it’s not new to me. I started training with Tiffany 17 years ago with my past Pom - and I always have been pleased with her classes.) When Zeke was with Tiffany for the month, she posted videos of his progress each day - We loved that! I brought him to his groomer today, and she was amazed at how well he did - total cooperation - and no barking at any of the other people or their dogs! One of the kids in our neighborhood (a kindergartener) asked why he doesn’t bark anymore at him.😊 Last night we took him to our grandson’s baseball game - and no barking at anyone! Taking him for walks is fun - he knows how to heel and sit when you stop. He knows the word “no” and he stops whatever he is doing when you say just that one word. We just love love love the difference in him. He is so much fun to be around. A HUGE thank you to Tiffany at AQK9!!!!!
