I can't say enough good things about Acardian Canine! I wasn't sure going in whether my dog was capable of the training they offer, or whether it would be worth the money, but they are amazing trainers. Goose did three weeks of boarding followed by ongoing training, and he did so well. They sent photos and updates daily and have continued to put so much love and care into his training. My dad is in a wheelchair and really needed Goose to be able to work off-leash, listen to commands, and help him get around. In just a few months, Goose is well on his way to becoming a true service animal. Tana, Makayla, and the whole team have been wonderful to work with. They've helped not just my dog, but my dad too, become a better handler. Goose is now kennel trained, works well off-leash, retrieves better, and listens overall so much better. He recently went to a Mariners game, was downtown for the FIFA World Cup matches, and can cruise the farmers market; all things that would have been way too much stimulation for him before training. I'm excited to keep watching Goose grow, both as my dog and as an even better service dog for my dad.

Arcadian canine has been a much needed break from the chaos that was my home. Our trainer Mafu took every consideration and payed very close attention to the needs of my individual dogs and my individual household. The framing he provided was also judgement free and supportive (though I have zero problem taking accountability for the fact that my unruly dogs were my creations). He classified behaviors as wanted and unwanted rather than objectively good or bad, because a good behaviorist understands it’s all relative, subjective, and needs based. My dogs are now easily directed to do what I need them to, they respond to signal, and they calm easily. It’s also obvious that my dogs aren’t afraid of him. They respect him and they’re always overjoyed to see him. That matters a lot to me. He does not employ cruelty, he employs structure and consistency. I knew he would be the right trainer for my dogs when his language prioritized humanity over perfection, and in doing so, he achieved exactly the results and conditions I was aiming for. The results are truly a 10/10. I would work with this company again, and especially Mafu again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Mafu for your kindness, thoroughness, follow through and impeccable support. Your dedication is seen. You rule, man.
