Argos Dog Training

We decided to take our dog to Argos Dog Training because he was giving us a hard time at home with his aggressive behavior. He used to bite if he was upset, and that was mainly his way of solving problems. Basically, he was very spoiled and thought he was the owner. Martin and his team helped us a lot by showing our dog that my husband and I are the owners and that he just needs to do what we command or ask him to do. We saw a lot of changes in our dog; he's a completely different dog, and he's now able to follow commands. Thank you, Argos! Martin and Jonathan are two incredible dog trainers!! We adopted a one-year old Jack Russell-Lab mix thinking we would train her to do everything you see on YouTube with no problems…. until the problems started. Bella was a very reactive dog, which was something neither of us had any experience dealing with. She was very uneasy, skittish, and sometimes aggressive around other dogs. She also was a runner…chasing squirrels across streets, rabbits into the road, and chipmunks through the woods. And she pulled on her leash like a champion sled dog (which until we met Martin, thought was an unavoidable behavior in young dogs). Argos has helped us build an incredible relationship with our dog that allows us to feel comfortable when she is around other dogs, and allow her off leash, even in the city. We can play fetch in a city park with no concerns she will go anywhere we don’t want. And she walks so well on a leash people often stop us to compliment her. The process took a few months and some patience, but the payoff is incredible. And Martin and Jonathan are the trainers to get you there. Also, they continue to serve as a great resource for our continued training with Bella. More weekend group classes to help with socialization, and advanced obedience classes to strengthen our off-leash relationship are the next steps for us. And they also organize Sunday pack walks for more socialization, provide an awesome Facebook Group with tips, videos, and techniques for more support, and have a structured day care where they reinforce the training you get in class. We recommend Argos to anyone who has a dog and wants to build a strong relationship, but don’t wait for the problems to start, go now! Martin and Jonathan have made our walks with Bella the best part of our day!
