We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Martin! He trained our dog, Millie, for five days and four nights, and the progress she made was incredible. Every day, he sent us video updates explaining the training methods he was using, which made it easy for us to understand and reinforce her new skills at home. No dog is going to have a dramatic change in five days. As Martin will explain it takes time and continuous patience and repetition - But Millie was noticeably, listening and understanding manners better than when she began. Martin provided us the start/ tools in order for us to have a well mannered, calm dog. What really sets Martin apart is his ongoing support—he has his own website where you can connect with him and ask questions even after training is complete. It’s clear he truly cares about both the dogs he trains and their owners. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated trainer, I highly recommend Martin!

Martin provided us with practical techniques and guidance that transformed our walks with our dog, Mona. Before our training started Mona would constantly pull on the leash and struggle to stay by our side. After his training (in addition to our consistent follow-through) we've seen great improvement. Martin laid a foundation of rules and tricks that we can use to strengthen Mona’s skills. While she didn't leave the program a perfect dog, Mona is undoubtedly a better, more well-behaved companion because of Martin. I have a 100 pound, 2 year old, overly friendly American Bully named Primo. He is not my first large dog, but controlling his energy was a huge challenge for me. Martin knew exactly what was needed. He used a combination of common sense, clear guidance, games, and extreme patience when working with him. All of the lessons built upon the previous, and after 10 days of board and training, along with private lessons, I couldn't be happier with the results. Martin is quick to respond to any questions, and it is great to have the videos of the daily training sessions. It is up to me to continue all that he has learned, and consistency is key. I'm not perfect, Primo is not perfect, but we have much better communication, he understands what's expected of him and I have the tools to manage all of the distractions that we encounter living in the city. We can’t recommend Argos Dog Training enough! We sent our 7-month-old Gordon Setter, Roman, for a 1-week board and train with Martin, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. As a sporting dog, Roman has a lot of energy, and while he’s sweet and goofy, we were struggling with his manners, listening skills, and overall energy management. That’s where Martin came in, and he truly worked wonders. A fellow dog owner in the neighborhood initially recommended Argos, and after meeting with Martin for a consultation, we knew it would be the perfect fit. While we still have work to do—after all, the training was just as much for us humans as it was for Roman—we’re beyond pleased with the results so far. Martin is an excellent trainer that does not just focus on the dog while you are in class but extends his expertise outside of the hands on classes and provides the dog owners with the tools to continue the onsite training is over. Our dog has made great strides with her behavior and we will continue with Martin's training technique through the material we received from the class and through other support courses offered by Argos.
