I rescued a sweet old lady pill bull terrier who was a rude bad citizen when encountering other dogs out on walks, and postured at the sight of any 4 legged critter. Art of the Dog rescued the dog again into the intensive training program for 3 weeks of doggie behavior adjustment. The business is well organized, the trainers are compassionate and goal oriented, and they are cohesive in their focus and techniques. They have communicated with me regularly, and in an ongoing fashion. My dog is 3 days out of “school”. We have practiced every day and she not only knows the commands, she is a happy dog and she wants to please me. AOD has done an awesome job with correcting the bad behaviors and supporting me in having this pet.

We sent our almost perfect 5 year-old Australian Labradoodle to the 21 day board and train program with a few objectives. Our pup had never spent more than 2 nights out of her home and had not been in a crate since she was 16 weeks old. We were so nervous and worried for her. From the moment I met her primary trainer, Kaylee, our hearts were relaxed and we knew we made the right decision. The love, care and experienced training team took exceptional care of our pup, and the daily updates were beyond heartwarming and fully demonstrating the new skills and progress being made. They also make the health of the pups their primary concern. After 21 long days, we picked up our girl, and received a supportive and instructive training session. Once I got home, o got to work practicing our pup’s new skills and I could. It believe the transformation. Our pup was completely different in public, in all the best ways, and still her loving playful self with us and her fellow doggy friends. I even had some confusion and Jamie and Kaylee took a call with me to support me ….which they offer full support for a lifetime. All of our good for our pup far exceeded our expectations. Benji has been home for almost two weeks now, and he's like a new dog! Despite trying multiple trainers in the past, we continued to struggle with his behavior and fear issues. Since completing the program, Benji is so much more confident and he can walk nicely through areas and around people that used to terrify him. He used to bark at every little noise outside, and now he's so much more relaxed and quiet. Juan was Benji's trainer and he did an awesome job keeping us in the loop with updates and photos. We're so grateful for all the care and attention Benji received. You won't regret bringing your dog here!
