Before Asheville Dog Academy (Obedience Class) Cash (my golden retriever mix puppy) didn’t always come when I called him, pulled too hard on the leash, chased squirrels too close to the road sometimes even crossed the main road. He even ate a dead squirrel once that I couldn’t get away from him in time but after working with Rebecca 1 on 1 for 8 weeks NONE of those things are an issue anymore. He’s focused on me and my commands and walks and runs on leash next to me without pulling. He doesn’t target fixate on squirrels or other people or their dogs as we pass either. He comes when called and doesn’t leave the yard when off leash. Rebecca and Asheville Dog Academy helped us build a bond of trust and understanding with each other and because of them Cash has a safer, better and happier life. Cash loved training so much at Asheville Dog Academey I signed him up for another class. He’s a student for life with them and I’m forever grateful for all their teaching and guidance.
ADA was amazing! We routinely received updates with photos of our dog in training. Extremely communicative during the training process and the follow up was outstanding. Never thought our pup could make this much progress in such a short time. HIGHLY recommend them!!
