Asheville Dog Academy

We took our 10 week old puppy to Asheville Dog Academy for puppy lessons with Rebecca and are thrilled with the outcome. Rebecca truly has a gift when it comes to understanding dog behaviors and training. She is focused and result driven. In addition we hired her to come to our home for private lessons with our 7 yo Cattle dog and 12 yo Chow mix who needed a little refresher. She listened to our needs/wants and built lessons around them. She trained us as much as she trained the dogs. We finished the 3 private lessons a lot better off than when we started. I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to take our puppy's training to the next level. Thanks Rebecca!!

Rebecca provided excellent training to improve the behavior of our Cavalier, Winston. She gave us the tools we needed to stop begging for our food. Most of the time he now lets us eat in peace! With Rebecca, we created an atmosphere to control his anxiety when we leave the house. We also learned how to stop his running away! Winston is learning fast. Mom and Dad need consistent practice! I picked up my dog from a 3 week board and train with Violet on February 16th. It's now April 16th. I wanted to give some time to write a review to make sure the training stuck beyond the hand-off. Wow! Violet performed miracles on our super hyper and wild golden doodle. After getting home from training, there were a few commands we didn't feel confident with, so Violet did several follow-ups with us - in our environment. Whatever it takes for you to feel confident and help the dog succeed, Violet will do it! Jinks now gets to live his best life - he goes to the forest, parks, shopping, to softball games, breweries, and everywhere in between. Not only does he do amazing with his commands, he does amazing even off leash! We are forever grateful for Violet and Asheville Dog Academy.
