Aspire K9 Academy

I would give Aspire K9 Academy a 10/10 if I could! I first brought my sweet (and rambunctious) Australian Shepard, Tank to Aspire K9 just after my infant was son born. I noticed that Tank seemed depressed and more reserved weeks into the change, so I thought some agility classes could help. When Gary met our pup, he took a holistic view of Tank's needs. He didn't rush into agility or sports training, since it wasn't going to best meet what Tank needed in that moment. He very accurately assessed that Tank needed some adjustments from our family in the home before we asked him to engage in agility. Within the first few weeks of offering changes at home (i.e.- a lot less corrections, more clear direction, and more love & encouragement), Tank's behavior and mood changed radically. Tank has gone from an apprehensive, reserved boy, to his authentic happy-go-lucky self. He has been given more freedom to just be a dog, with much less demands from us. Through this training, Tank's love for agility has ignited, and his talents are starting to shine through. We consider Gary and his training methods as life-changing and life-saving for our family. He's taught us how to bring out the best in Tank, and has offered us vital boundaries for keeping both our babies safe. Not only does Gary offer extremely valuable and compassionate training, he is also very knowledgeable about foods, treats, toys, and activities for us to offer to greatly enhance Tank's life. I could write a novel about how grateful we are for Aspire K9, and how proud we are of Tank! We will be working with Gary for many years to come!

We went to Aspire for help with our rescue dog's behavior and lack of training. He was patient with both my dog and me and had great advice for dealing with our trouble maker. With the techniques we were taught, my dog picked up new skills quickly. I'm grateful for the time and effort that Gary put into helping us including emails and phone calls in between sessions for issues that popped up. I'd recommend Aspire to anyone.
