At Attention Dog Training

Carli was a wonderful fit for working with our rescue puppy, Pudding. She met with us in a variety of real world settings, at our home, around the neighborhood, and even on my daughter’s college campus, which made a huge difference in helping Pudding generalize his training. Carli helped us address his reactive barking and anxiety in new situations and around new people. It was incredibly rewarding to see Pudding gain confidence and feel more secure as a result of her work. She uses positive reinforcement and clearly cares deeply about each dog’s well-being, always ensuring that Pudding was supported and never overstressed. I would gladly recommend Carli to anyone looking for a thoughtful, effective trainer to help meet their dog’s needs.

We met with Alicia over several weeks to work on Harper our 2 year old pyrenees mix, who can show reactivity with both dogs and people, especially children. Harper is very food motivated and works well with high value treats. Alicia gave us the tools that we needed to help desensitize Harper in situations with other dogs as well as with children who are out playing on bikes and scooters and such. It is for these reasons that I give At Attention Dog Training five stars.

Vania worked with us and our Shepherd mix puppy to try to get a handle on lease aggression and also integrate her into our home with our cats. From teaching us basic commands, working with us on walks, and meeting us at parks for sessions, she was very helpful and patient with us and our pup in working through these challenges. We have made great strides and she was an integral part of that. Vania was dedicated not only to teaching us, but teaching us the right way, building a great base of trust with our puppy so that we can conquer these challenges and any new ones that come up. There are no more dog gates in our home, and we continue to progress in our walks around the neighborhood and parks. We highly recommend Vania and At Attention Dog Training. We recently completed in-home training with Andrea for Molly, our 2 year old Shepard mix rescue. Molly was very energetic and challenging. We were unable to get her to focus and stop barking. Andrea provided great advice, tips and lots of patience with our energetic pup. She provided insight into how to hold Molly’s attention and showed us how to work with her to get the behavior we wanted. Andrea helped us to get Molly calmer and more engaged. After working with Andrea, Molly comes when called, listens to our commands and is a happy member of our family. Thank you At Attention and Andrea!
