Atlanta Dog Trainer

The trainer, Shelby, her team and facilities for boarding and training are wonderful. Atlanta Dog Trainer is in Roswell on a 4 acre piece of property, dog heaven. I really cant say enough good things about them. They took in a dog I found off the street and while I had no idea how to acclimate her into the world, they did. She and her team were genuinely caring and through Shelby, we found out she loved other dogs, people and especially kids. It really was amazing to see her transformed. We will be forever grateful to her because of their generosity of spirit and the way they helped so that that sweet little dog can have her best life in a wonderful new home! You all are simply the best!

Once our sweet Choc Lab, Tucker, turned 8 mos, he became a rambunctious guy, and everything we’d taught him, he pretty much said, Yeah right!! He had been going to Doggy Daycare at Atlanta Dog Trainers several times, but we decided to have him do their two week Board & Train, because he just became too hard to even walk. It’s SO worth missing him those 2 weeks, and they DEFINITELY deserve every dollar for what they do, in training our dog. His trainer sent us daily videos, so we could hear how he was doing, and we could listen to her words, and how she uses them in the training, so that we could be prepared to do the same ourselves. She took him into coffee shops & Home Depot, & around town, and it was shocking to see him just laying or sitting there perfectly behaved! I swear to you, after getting our dog back, it’s like night and day. He’s almost as big as me, and stronger, and I can now walk him with ease, instead of my husband having to always do it. We’re definitely going to continue having him take the various classes that they offer. He LOVES going there, and Shelby the owner, and her amazing trainers all love him, too. I have been using Atlanta Dog Trainers for nearly 20 yrs, utilizing them for both training and boarding for my dogs. I always appreciate the personal attention they show my fur babies and the constant updates I receive with videos showing me their progress during training. Most recently, Madeline worked with my mini golden doodle puppy, Goldie, to teach her all of the basic commands while Rachel did a retrain on my 4 yr old yellow lab, Winston, with whom she had previous experience during his initial training. Both worked hand-in-hand with each other while training both dogs together. As a repeat customer for nearly two decades, I continue to highly recommend ADT for all training and boarding needs. They are attentive, personable and highly professional which is everything I want when entrusting my fur babies to someone else’s care.
