I am a first time a dog owner I have no idea how to train a dog I didn’t know where to start????????😱 I was very confused because I have a German shepherd puppy I know they have a lot of potential they’re very smart dogs and they need the right training I did a lot of research in my area I am kind of person that if I do a research online I will check the reviews first I saw a Lotta good reviews excellent five star for Atlantic coast K9 training I did go to address and I talked to Ralph for the first time I was so happy that he found a time schedule for training When I was talking to him first time I wanted to explain how much I want my puppy to be trained and to be a puppy that will be proud he told me after his training is done that’s what I will see from my German shepherd puppy that I will be proud and happy and that’s exactly now I feel big difference he listens to commands he walks around the house in and out without leash and he does exactly how I want him to behave Thank you very much and I appreciate it I will recommend to anybody asked me about where and whom I will recommend Ralph to be there puppies trainer

We had our Belgium Malinois go through defense training with Ralph. He did a fantastic job! Not only does he know how to maintain and improve the obedience training that she previously had, but he also understood the science of what drives the dogs so that they are able to understand and know what to look for once they’re outside of the training environment. Our dog has gained so much confidence and is certainly prepared to defend us and our home. We really appreciate Ralph’s time and guidance with our sweet girl. If you looking for a fantastic trainer, look no further!!! Train with Ralph, he’s the best.

We had our golden doodle, Pono, stay with Ralph in February of 2021 for a board and train. He would bark at passing dogs and squirrels anytime we were on a walk. When I picked him up he was completely dirty and smelled like urine; and he was even more reactive to dogs and squirrels. The training did not help at all with his behavior. Whenever I try to contact Ralph to get clarification or ask for guidance he wouldn’t answer my calls or respond to my emails. Ghosted. So eventually my husband and I stopped trying to contact him and soon after moved away. We spent a lot of money to have our dog regress in his behavior. Since then we have worked with other trainers and had much better results. I feel terrible for leaving my dog there, and do not recommend the board and train to anyone. I always meant to write a review but never got around to it. Hopefully this helps someone avoid a bad experience and the guilt I have about my dog staying there.

Honestly it doesn't get much better than Ralph! I grew up with German shepherds all my life and worked with many different trainers over the years. I'm very thankful to have found Ralph!! He is absolutely spot-on when it comes to training!! It's really hard to find this quality of trainer within surrounding areas of Charlottesville. I highly recommend him. Thank you very much Ralph for the wonderful job you have done with Lincoln!! When I take him out into the community people are absolutely marveled at his at his behavior!!
