Atlas Dog Training

Quinton went to Atlas Dog Training for the 5 week behavioral modification program and we could not be happier with the results! Prior to this program, we struggled with training as Quinton by nature is extremely stubborn and also extremely anxious around unfamiliar people, places, or objects. Since coming home, we now have a reliable recall, much improved leash walking, as well as the basic obedience commands. My family and I have also definitely noticed a change in Quinton’s demeanor, he seems happier and less anxious with his newfound structure. Henry and his team communicated throughout the process and were always available for any questions/concerns! They have continued to follow up after Quinton came home which goes to show how much they care about their work. I would highly recommend Atlas to anyone looking, 100% a worthwhile investment!

We are absolutely thrilled with the training we received at Atlas! In February, we brought our 2-year-old rescue pitbull, Gator, for training and were incredibly impressed with the dog we brought home. When we first dropped him off, Gator was a relatively unruly dog who constantly tugged on the leash and had no understanding of basic commands. Although I was initially worried that he would struggle or return with significant behavioral challenges, my fears were entirely unfounded. Danielle and Henry were exceptionally communicative and supportive throughout the entire process. They even promptly informed us when Gator experienced a minor health issue and (adorably) celebrated his birthday during his stay! Since returning home, Gator is a different dog. He can now successfully heel, sit, lie down, stay in place, and is rapidly improving his recall skills. Today, during a vet visit, we unintentionally encountered every single one of his previous major triggers, and he handled each situation with incredible grace and composure. His understanding of the command "no" is remarkable, and our communication with him has improved in ways I could never have fathomed. Most importantly, the change in Gator’s overall demeanor is indescribable! Before his training, he was constantly anxious and often reacted with fear and an increased heart rate to even the most innocuous noises. He always appeared on edge and never seemed truly comfortable. Since his return, he has become visibly happier and more confident. He now relaxes, is so joyful, and is constantly smiling and wagging his tail. I genuinely cannot recommend Atlas enough to any dog owner, especially those with anxious pets, and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. If you want your dog to be happy, well mannered, and totally confident, Atlas is absolutely the place to be!

Atlas was absolutely fantastic! We brought home a little 7 month mini dachshund, Bear, and knew we would want some support with training due to our busy weekday schedules. We were initially nervous about our pup being away for a whole month, but the whole Atlas team was so fantastic with keeping us updated on his progress & sending lots of photos and videos of him happily playing and getting plenty of love! We felt so reassured and thankful our dog was well cared for and were shocked at everything he learned while there! It has made such a difference in our day to day now that he has such a solid foundation of obedience training. Grateful to the whole atlas team & look forward to taking Bear back to board sometimes since he had such a good time. Thank you!
