Auburn understands the needs of his busy clients and their desire to have their dog or dogs as an integral part of their family. With over 30 years of dog training experience we have the knowledge, skill, and dedication to help your dog and you succeed. Since graduating from the United States K9 Academy in Waterbury, CT in 1996 under the strict supervision of James Salva and Richard Conners, Auburn has become a well-known expert in the dog obedience and protection field. He will work with aggressive dogs that no one else will touch. He uses love and praise rewards to turn your dog into a well-trained, responsive family member.

Terrible experience !! Absolutely complete waste of money. We would have been better off going to petco for training classes. He had our Bulldog for 3 weeks we saw little no difference in our dog . After we expressed our disappointment. He said he would come to our home once a week for a training session until we were satisfied. That happened one time , then he completely ghosted us. We had to initiate contact by this time we had so little trust and confidence in him we just excepted our $ loss $ . Conveniently he never presented us with a contract of any sort so we had no recourse. Had we had a contract we probably would’ve taken it to court.
Auburn has trained both of our Olde English bulldoges and he is amazing. He truly loves dogs, and is a real pro. Our boys love him and came back as perfect gentlemen. He has the touch and we trust him like family.

Of even more importance to me is the genuine love and care Auburn has for the dogs entrusted to him. I am so pleased my wife and I found Auburn to train our Bernedoodle puppy, Marley. Marley is always ecstatic when Auburn comes to work with him and he responds immediately. In fact, we are so happy with Auburn’s demonstrated love for all animals, dogs, cats, ponies, etc. that we are boarding Marley with him for our upcoming ten day trip out of state. Auburn Leach is a dog miracle worker! I have a very frisky female husky which I rescued during Covid Lockdown; she was a holy terror, wild as could be. I discovered Auburn's K9 Academy and enrolled my girl for some behavior training....I was not disappointed. He did an incredible job with her! She came back to me like a different dog...well behaved, obeyed commands, walked in a controlled manner etc. She retained her sweet playful personality minus the wild behavior. Auburn is so good with her and she really enjoyed her time with him. He also "trained" me.... he worked with us together and had me managing her like a pro in no time. If you need behavior and/or obedience training for your fur child I highly recommend Auburn Leach K9 Academy, you will not be disappointed!
