Julie has been absolutely amazing! We are currently in the off-leash dog training with our year and a half old Australian Shepherd and it's made a world of difference! Under her guidance we have learned how to read our dog and correct negative behaviors before they become an issue! Prior to training our pup was an excited puller on the leash, now she walks with me and naturally stops and follows my direction. We have also nearly mastered the come and stay command, with me being able to walk away and her stay put. I've learned how to keep her focus on me, even in settings with a lot of distractions! This has strengthened the bond I have with my dog and given me the knowledge on how to properly communicate with her. Julie is an awesome PEOPLE & DOG trainer!!

We loved that our dog was in her home not sitting in a large kennel all day. We are a family and having our dog right there with her to see how she behaved in a home makes all the difference. We also loved that Julie trained us not just our dog and answered all my questions, once we took our dog home.

The dogs have very different personalities and she’s able to manage both of them. She sends updates throughout too and we always see how much fun the dogs are having. Julie is kind and flexible, always willing to work with us and our hectic schedules. She truly knows what she’s doing and we wouldn’t leave our pups with anyone else. I enlisted Julie’s help to train our Shiba Inu puppy and the results have been fantastic. We had a 19 year old Shiba who definitely lived up to the breed’s reputation for stubbornness, so I knew that I wanted to start training early with our puppy so she could come along on any adventure without causing stress.
At just over half way through the course of training sessions, she has excellent recall, is a pleasure to walk, has stopped jumping on strangers and unknown dogs and is better behaved around the house.
At only 6 months of age, I’ve taken her along on canoe trips, bike rides and off leash hikes with confidence that she’s not going to run off or cause trouble.
I’m very glad that we started training with Julie as early as we did, and our puppy is thrilled that she never gets left at home for fear she won’t behave herself.
