AZ Canine Fitness

Just by accident I stumbled upon AZ Canine Fitness and thought they could help my little guy. Lisa and Braelyn came to my home to evaluate my senior Chihuahua mix. Lisa created a special exercise plan that we could do with him to make him stronger while Braelyn used a laser on all of his problem areas. We continued with weekly laser treatments while working on our exercises. I honestly think it has helped him, especially his back leg that he used to hop on when he would walk fast. Both Lisa and Braelyn are so sweet and patient with my dog which was important to us because he has advanced Canine Cognitive Disfunction. It's so convenient that they come to your home especially if your dog doesn't enjoy car rides. We consider it such a blessing that a dog physical therapist is in our area and has made such a positive impact on our dog's strength and pain level. Thank you AZ Canine Fitness!

We are so grateful that we were referred to AZ Canine Fitness. Lisa and Braelyn make an amazing team and helped us with an extensive treatment plan for our 3 dogs with orthopedic issues,1 senior and 2 almost 3 year olds. After 3 weeks of 1x per week treatment, we noticed a huge difference in their mobility and activity levels to the point where we rarely have to give our younger ones pain meds now. Our dogs absolutely love them too, which speaks volumes because our senior is very people-selective but she immediately came right up to them for attention at each visit. We decided to purchase some of the equipment ourselves because we could already see the priceless investment it is and that it will allow us to continue to treat ourselves. Braelyn and Lisa took the time to show us how to do the therapy on our own but remain available for questions at any time or if we need them to come back for a visit. We were desperate to help our seven-year-old German Shepherd, Max. Our vet told us that Max had DM. We were devastated because we had just lost our 12-year-old German Shepherd, five months earlier to the same disease. Max was different. He had so much life and energy, even though his back legs were not cooperating. With the help of our neighbors she turned us to AZ Canine fitness. Lisa came did an assessment and mentioned a test that we could do that would determine if our dog truly had DM. We sent our test off to the university of Davis in California and Lord, behold our Max indeed did not have DM.. Lisa came up with a plan until we were able to see the neurologist for a more precise diagnosis. Our dog has weekly laser, treatment and laser acupuncture. Lisa is patient knowledgeable, kind, and a true leader in her field. We’ve been doing treatment for about a month and a half, and since we have been with Lisa, we have gone from a dog that couldn’t stand on his back legs, walk a month and a half ago, who today can stand with assistance. Sometimes he stands straight up. And hops. He is getting stronger and tries to walk. Our max is doing so much better with Lisa’s treatment. I cannot recommend her enough. This is her expertise. This is what she does day in and day out and she is a gift. You wont be disappointed.
