AZ Dog Sports

I started going to AZDogSports in June of last year. The classes were great in the beginning. The puppy classes were pretty good until one of the instructors left. I can't remember how many classes I bought in total. It was at least 24. I was going about twice a week with my puppy. While I was there I kept trying to get the Puppy Star certification, but the instructor never did the testing. It was always "next" week. When we got to Obedience 1, it was always getting them to stay, a trip to the ACE Hardware, and then back for a course. I stopped early because I was having issues walking and that's really all it was. I had another dog pass away at the time. Instructor seemed more interested in the progression of other dogs. Spent part of one class watching a dog get their CGC. I didn't feel like any planning went into the classes. I ended up losing 4 credits, but really I was tired of driving 30 minutes to walk to ACE Hardware with no feedback. (Happy Hounds is the best deal) What happed to the location? It's inside the Pet Supply Plus now... The outside images are inaccurate now...

I came here looking for a dog harness. The selection of dog harnesses was relatively small, although larger than at other local nonbigbox stores. My friends and I were there several minutes and had looked at all of the harnesses when a woman asked if we needed help, almost as if we were an after thought. I explained specifically what I needed (because my dog is specific in what she needs, lol). The woman kept trying to convince me to buy things that did not fit my needs. I ended up not buying anything. I would have totally spent $50 on a harness that fit my dog's needs (and supported a local business and all of that), but I wasn't going to spend $50 on a harness that didn't cover all the bases. They also had leashes and collars and cute little doggie booties so doggies don't burn their feet on the hot Arizona ground.
