B'More Dogs Hon

In September I began fostering a reactive dog named Ruby. There was an incident she attacked another dog. At a complete loss of how to help this dog. We turned to Ryan for a chance to save this dog. She is now about to graduate Ryan’s training course and through months of following the program. Ruby can now be in the same room with multiple other dogs and MINIMAL reactivity! To say this program saved this dog is an understatement. Without getting her to a manageable state she would NEVER be able to get adopted. Thank you Ryan for helping Ruby get to her next level in her training journey as well as opening an opportunity for her to be adopted!

I have three rescue dogs, each with their own unique reactivity and aggression challenges. My latest rescue—a 90lb, 1.5-year-old Mastiff mix—has been extremely leash reactive since we adopted him at five months old. Despite working with multiple behaviorists and trainers over the years, walks remained stressful and unpredictable. A friend recommended Ryan, and from our very first session, I saw an incredible difference. For the first time in a year, I was able to walk past another dog across the street without my dog losing control or redirecting onto me. I was so overwhelmed with relief that I actually cried—it had been that stressful. Now, as we near the end of our 10-session program, I feel empowered with the tools and knowledge to continue his progress at home. While training is always a work in progress, Ryan has given me the confidence to enjoy my pup in a way I never could before. I’m beyond grateful for his guidance and highly recommend him to anyone struggling with reactive dogs!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Ryan and Bmore Dogs Hon. We started our pup, Koda, with this training program when he was around 6m and the experience has been invaluable. Ryan provided us with ample tools for success and that has ultimately made Koda a more well behaved pup and us better pup parents. I loved the non-nonsense approach because it ultimately held us accountable for our own contributions to the process. Additionally, the location is great. It provided ample space to train in, for both solo and group sessions. The space is clean and spacious, the art is cool and inspiring, and we couldn't have been more satisfied. The selection of treats and snacks was also a plus. We always felt welcomed and safe and I would without a doubt recommend Bmore Dogs Hon to anyone considering a dog training program.

Marybelle and I found Ryan soon after we experienced a serious behavior incident. He introduced us to, and fitted her with, a specific collar that have given me immediate control, but does not add to her fearfulness. He is flexible accommodating my drive times, and to work on my basic goals to have a safe experience around other dogs. His lovely, indoor facility allows for a safe flow entering and exiting. Can’t recommend Ryan and B’More Dogs Hon highly enough! We did two other basic training courses with our dog Claire and I wish we had just started here. Ryan trains the owners and the dogs and it’s all doable for any type of training needed. Plus he has indoor and outdoor space and offers great, healthy food, treat, and toy options. We love how much better behaved Claire is and feel more confident that she’s safe because of her training. This is THE place for dog training!
