B the Leader offers dog behavioral training and classes. Owner, Julia Bowlin, has been training dogs since 2004. We specialize in behavior problems including jumping, biting, pulling on the leash, and running away. This is deeper training than basic commands. We teach you how to create a balanced coexistence with your dog in your daily life.

I understand you have a play group. Is that for dogs in your training only?
We hold puppy playgroups for dogs 6 months and under on Sundays from 12:30-1:30pm. We don't require training for that but we do ask you call ahead to let us know you'll be coming! For dogs over 6 months we require a training to make sure all of our pups are respectful of our staff and of each other!

Our main concern was her coming to her name on our property and listening through distractions like encountering wildlife and our poultry. She has yet to chase our chickens since the training, and comes to her name. I am so impressed at how easy it is to practice at home and how Julia took the time to get to know our pup and teach us how to teach her.

Julia not only gives you the tools you need to train your dog she helps coach you on how you need to be as a responsible pet owner to ensure your dog is integrated positively in your life and the human world. The positive changes I have seen in my dog’s behavior by following Julia’s program is astounding and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Aussie with a mind of her own. I've never in my life needed outside dog training but I was at my wits end.
2 hours in, I can see that this method works! We have light at the end of the tunnel and will be able to take our pup out without going crazy!!

Julia is amazing!!
Julia helped us with our older dogs and educated us on how to get the results we want. (You can teach old dogs new tricks LOL.)

Great puppy training! Julia was very patient and assisted my mom with training her puppy. She explained the steps and the reasoning why we needed to do the things that she was asking us to do. I highly recommend her services!
