BA K9 Training

Truly can’t say enough good things about the team here at BA professional K9! About a year ago I sent my 110lb Rottweiler who was extremely reactive to all dogs/humans to Ben & his team for board and train. Here, he was able to learn proper respect & training, leadership from humans, & lots of socialization with dogs and even goats!! Four weeks later and my boy came back an entirely different, confident dog. He could comfortably and happily be around humans and dogs alike. I was able to visit him weekly for training sessions where I was taught how to use the “tools” necessary to ensure my dog could continue his success after the board and train. I approach dog training an entirely different way now and will never raise a dog the same (in the best way possible!) I now feel that I know how to properly be the leader my dog wants and needs, and ultimately that ALL dogs want and need. The lessons I learned through Ben & his team, I will carry with me for a life time. I can’t thank them enough for teaching me how to grow as a confident dog owner and as a leader in my life in general. I now have the relationship with my dog that I’ve always wanted - a true companion that respects me and trusts me to lead him. I continue sending my dog to Ben & his team for “day school” & he absolutely loves it. I would never even consider going anywhere else. No one in town offers the knowledge, patience, & care that you find at BA. I honestly don’t know where we would be without finding this place. Ben is an outstanding trainer! We came to him with a timid, aggressive dog and he helped us turn him into a more confident, calm companion. My wife and I are the proud owners of a labrador puppy that was bred for field trials (therefore she never stops)….beautiful puppy but we want her as a house pet, to take on long walks, travel with us, etc… Trust us when we say our puppy never gets tired and has lots of ENERGY. We were not training our dog very well-even though we tried our best-and on our second visit to the vet to get her shots, the vet had a very hard time controlling our puppy and suggested that we take our puppy to training and referred us to BA Professional K9 Training. We followed the vet's advice and contacted Ben. My wife and I both are extremely satisfied with the results we have seen in two months of training. It is amazing to see such drastic improvement in such a short time. We would recommend BA Professional K9 Training to anyone who needs help training their dog, needs help correcting certain behaviors, or just wants to attain the best owner / dog experience, Ben, has helped us so much with our new labrador puppy and has a very planned and methodical approach to his training. When we drop off / pick up our puppy for day training we get individualized training based on the needs of our puppy. We can also plan on having a tuckered out well exercised dog that day. Our six month old puppy has learned to walk properly on her leash (no pulling ) which has taken a once stressful time to an enjoyable time with our dog. She has learned to greet people calmly and to refrain from jumping. Our puppy is getting plenty of opportunities to socialise with other dogs as well. We have learned to take control of our puppy rather than her taking control of us. Ben gives us the “tools” needed to continue training our dog at home and is available to answer questions even after day training hours. Ben’s assistant, Brian, is also very knowledgeable and helpful. We are so glad that BA Professional K9 Training was recommended to us by our veterinarian.
