Just texted Leon this, after our training session yesterday: GM, Leon. Just have to report: Otto did GREAT on his walk this morning, even though we came across several other dogs. I tried to apply what you taught me yesterday, especially with remaining relaxed and confident. When he got too excited anyway, I made him sit and wait until he was calm again. I’m sure I forgot half the other advice you gave me, but just that bit helped tremendously. No barking and jumping, no desperate pulling at the leash. I think the main thing, as you said, was not communicating my own stress to him. I’m amazed!
